Resting in Christ: The Fourth Commandment

Pastor Tim and Pastor Henry walk through the fourth commandment, tracing the Sabbath from its Old Testament roots as God's gift of freedom to a people enslaved 400 years, into its fulfillment as a daily rest in Jesus Christ. Their central point: we no longer keep the Sabbath as a burden of rules but rest in Christ out of love, trusting him with our worries and coming boldly to him to break the bondage of sin. The congregation sings All to Jesus I Surrender, Give Thanks, and Blessed Assurance, and the service closes with prayer for jobs, housing, and healing.
