Here is what to know before your first Sunday: where to find us, how the service is ordered from beginning to end, and answers to the questions visitors most often ask.

Tucked along Wildwood Street in West Boise, just off Ustick Road.

Turn south off Ustick between Cloverdale and Five Mile, and look for the long cream block building with the black doors. Free parking is right in front, and the doors open directly onto the lot, so the entrance is easy to find. Sundays at 9:00 AM, every week.

What to Expect

The Sunday service runs about an hour.

The service follows the same order every week, so you will know what to expect.

  1. Fellowship

    Doors open at 9:00. The first half hour is set aside for fellowship, a time to greet one another before worship begins. Coffee and light refreshments such as bagels are served, free to all, and free transportation from select shelters is available for anyone who needs a ride. See Sunday Fellowship →

  2. Prelude

    At about 9:25 the worship team begins to play while everyone takes a seat. You are welcome to sit wherever you like.

  3. Welcome

    At 9:30 the service begins with a brief welcome from the front, a word about the morning, and a moment to quiet our hearts before the Lord.

  4. Two Worship Songs

    Our worship team leads the congregation in two songs of praise. The words are shown on the screen, and you are welcome to join in.

  5. Sunday School (Kids)

    After the opening songs, the children are called to the front, and their teacher walks them to their own room for a Bible lesson taught at their level. They return to the sanctuary before the service ends, so you can pick them up right where you are sitting. Learn more →

  6. Teaching

    A sermon from one of our pastors or a discussion-style lesson, as the two alternate from week to week. Either way, the teaching is grounded in Scripture and lasts about 25 to 30 minutes.

  7. Closing Song

    The congregation joins in a final song of worship.

  8. Benediction

    The pastor closes the service in prayer and a final blessing over the congregation.

  9. After the Service

    The service ends at about 10:30. Coffee is often still available and many people stay to visit, so there is no need to hurry.

Before You Come

A few things visitors usually ask.

What should I wear?
We encourage you to come in your Sunday best, whatever that looks like for you. We dress with care on Sunday out of reverence for the Lord, and we ask that everyone dress modestly.
Where do I park?
In the lot directly beside the building, which you will see as soon as you arrive. Parking is free, no permit is needed, and the front doors are only a few steps away.
What happens at the door?
A greeter will welcome you and is glad to help with anything you need, whether a question, a seat, or the restrooms. You will not be asked to introduce yourself or to sign anything.
Can I bring my children?
Yes. Sunday School is held during the service for children from preschool through about 5th grade. After the opening songs, the children are called to the front and their teacher walks them to their classroom as a group. They return to the sanctuary before the service ends.
