Show No Partiality: The Heart of Christ

Pastor Tim continues through James chapter 2, teaching that the heart of Christ shows no partiality: God loves the poor and the rich alike, and a church that overlooks the broken or runs after the wealthy has missed the royal law to love your neighbor as yourself. He calls believers to carry Christ’s selfless love wherever they go, treating every person with respect and never chasing what this world admires over what is eternal. The morning opens with As the Deer and Behold Our God, a reading of Psalm 6, and closes with the hymn Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus and prayer over the congregation’s needs.
