God Is Love: Through Pain and Suffering

chapter 51 verse 10-2 create in me a pure heart oh God and renew a steadfast Spirit within me do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me restore to me the joy of your salvation and great grants me a willing Spirit to sustain me and just to quickly kind of break down each each of these verses uh so verse 10 is telling us to ask for a pure heart and A Renewed spirit and verse 11 It also says plead to stay in God's presence and keep his Holy Spirit and then moving on to verse 12 it says request the joy of Salvation and a sustaining willing Spirit uh so with today's service I know we have communion today uh let's also ask God to you know cleanse our hearts and to help us focus on that today so that being said let's stand up and pray Lord God we thank you for the service that you GI us today Lord and we ask you God fill it with the Holy Spirit God guide us and lead us in this service Lord help us Lord and cleanse our hearts God help us to be prepared for communion brothers and sisters uh for this beautiful morning that we can all come here together and praise the Lord and worship His name and I just want to uh read a quick Bible verse in Psalms 1 uh and it says here blessed is the man who does not walk with the wicked whose Delight is in the law of the Lord he is like a tree planted by the W water praise God and I also want to announce our program for this comfort for Family Protection while we sleep we pray for healing for Prosperity we pray for your Mighty hand to ease our suffering all all the while you hear each spok and need you'd love us way too much to give us lesser things cuz what if your blessings come through raindrops what if your healing comes through tears what if a thous sleepless nights are what it takes to know your need what if Tri of this life all your Mercies in Disguise we pray for wisdom your voice to hear we cry in Anger when we cannot feel you near without your goodness we doubt your love as if every promise from your word is not enough all the you hear each desperately long that we have faith to believe guess what if you blessings come through raindrops what if your healing comes through tears what if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know your need what if of this life are your Mercies in Disguise friends betray us when darkness seems to win my pain reminds this heart that this is not this is not our heart it's not all cuz what if your blessings come through raindrops what if your healing comes through tears what if a thousand sleep night so what a day to know your need what if my greatest disappointments or the aching of this life is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can satisfy what if Dr of this life the rain the storms the hardest nights UT your Mercies in [Music] SK praise [Music] God thank you for such a beautiful song it's it's actually you know kind of towards my topic um because that's that song spoke about you know people doubting God's love and God's mercy um but but his mercy and his love exist because that's who he is so I will be continuing my topic about love thy and it's going to be God is love part two you know I think one of the well I don't think I know why the the world is the way it is is because of a lie that goes 6 or 8,000 years ago you know and it's called the deception that once was believer once the devil has you believe in his way then he is able to control you any way he wants the Bible teaches us that Satan he's a deceiver he's a liar he is the biggest liar while God's nature is not that God's nature is truth his nature is love and we actually see that throughout the world like we heard God's mercies you know we read in 2 Corinthians where it says that the devil disg dis disguises himself as an angel of Light we also see in John 8 44 it says that his nature is to lie into murder and the biggest story of deception which we will be looking at goes all the way back to the beginning of this world and we will be studying how through his line through the L the line of the devil he deceived individuals families and even entire nations his goal is to steal to murder and to devour that's the nature of the serpent which we read about who is also known as the devil he is Crafty he is smooth and the thing is that about him is that he almost tells the truth over here I'm saying he almost tells the truth but not quite you know this happens to be a form of the scariest deception that we can encounter in our lives you know and like it says in John 844 you are of your father the devil and your will is to do your father's desires he was a murder from the beginning and has nothing to do with the truth because there is no truth in him when he lies he speaks according to his own nature for he is a liar and the father of Lies my dear friends the the reason why the world is the way it is is not because of God it's because of the serpent of old who is known as the devil you know a lot of people they can go to the to the cemeteries they can go to the children's hospitals and they can ask where is God if God is love where is he why are people dying why are people getting sick why did I lose my child or my mother or my father why did I lose my wife or my husband where is the love of God and over here we will will be looking over that through all the pain and the suffering that God is love you know when we talk about the nature of the devil that he's a murderer from the beginning that there is no truth in him like it says in John 8 that's who he is and the Bible says you will know them by their fruit there's people who write like steps how to um the like what was it you know the king of deception you know uh there's there's um people who write for to be successful in life you have to do these steps to deceive and through deception a lot of people try to reach their goals and like one person said very wealthy man a young man asked him what do you recommend for us Young entrepreneurs and he said to reach your goal at any cost these people they reach their goal at any cost they will deceive they will lie they will murder because they are the sons and daughters of the devil and like the saying goes like father like son the Apple doesn't fall far from the tree like father like son and that's how this world is run you know I want to ask us a question what's more important in our mind it's just an example a watch that is 3 minutes wrong or a watch that is 3 hours wrong everyone knows that a watch that is 3 hours wrong is is obvious but a watch that is 3 minutes wrong can cause you to miss your airplane deception it's not a such a lie that is obvious it's a lie that is almost true and that's one of the T tactics that Satan uses to sew into many hearts and Minds that God is evil because of all the evil that exists but only if we knew the origins of evil you know there was a guy his name was Charles Templeton and he was a big Evangelist Billy Graham's uh I'll say like right hand and they and they travel together and they Minister together and they worship God together and they preached together but there came a time where Charles Templeton came into a hospital and he saw a lot of sick people with all sorts of diseases and Cancers and little kids dying and he said if God is love why are these kids dying if he's all powerful why can't he stop the pain and the suffering and that moment he left his ministry he separated himself from Billy Graham and he became an atheist you know the deception that I want to talk about is there's there's multiple deceptions that the Bible talks about but before we go into the deception that the devil is constantly bombarding our faith our churches our families we need to find out whose fault was it that evil came into this world you know a like a student he was was um like at a lecture meeting or whatever and there was a preacher uh you know sharing the the like origins of the world uh you know how the world came to be and he was teaching in a university and then at the end of his teaching there was a like a Q&A question and answer and so this student comes up and he says you know like you were saying how God he created everything uh like and like everything he made he loves and once again that that sentence you know Rong out if God is love why is there so much pain and suffering you know a lot of people are stuck on that sentence if God God is love why is there so much pain and suffering and the the preacher was just about to answer him but but he stopped himself and I kind of watched his other um uh clips and he he like he kind of did that multiple times but uh but he's like if I prove to you today that God is love will you accept him and I mean that was probably like 300 uh people in that room and they all just kind of like look at him and he's standing there he was not expecting that you know and he's standing there and he's like no I wouldn't and the preacher asked him but why like you you asked me to prove to you that God is love and if you're a student that's what you live by proof If I prove to you why will you not accept him like and he said because I just don't agree with a lot of the things that the Bible teaches a form of deception a form of De ception you know that the devil puts into so many young minds and most of these kids grew up in homes that their parents went to church their grandparents went to church everybody went to church but this child for some reason he turned away from Christ what's the origin of pain and suffering let's go back to the Garden of Eden I mean we're going to be reading in Genesis 1 and Genesis 3 but it's many chapters and I'm just going to summarize it real quick before we go into it but we know God he made everything in six days some people can speculate 6 days in God's time may be different I'm not going to get into that argument because I myself don't know um but God made everything beautiful and when he makes something he says it is good he loves what he made if he made something and he's like oh man I messed up it would have been written in the Bible but what we know is that everything he created he loved and then he makes Adam and Eve and he wants to spoil them he's you know putting up flowers and trees and and animals are running around and everybody's just having this wonderful time nowhere do we read that during that time that that there was any pain or suffering it was just joy and God says in Genesis 1:28 that be fruitful and multiply and fill the Earth and subdue it and he even gave dominion over the fish of the sea over the birds of the heavens and over all the living things that move on the earth he gave humans this Authority The Authority that he has he gave to Adam and Eve and he's like you know what guys I want you to enjoy what I give you know and God he he uh blessed them and we didn't read about like Eve complaining that they don't have enough of this God provided for them all the time but then you know we read in Genesis 3 and I'm going to start on the third passage now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made and he said to the woman has God indeed said You shall not eat of every tree of the garden and the woman said to the serpent we may eat the fruit of the Trees of the garden but of the the fruit of the tree which is in in the midst of the garden God has said You shall not eat it nor shall you touch it lest you die then the serpent said to the woman you will not surely die for God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God known good and evil so when the woman saw that the tree was good for food it was pleasant to the eyes and a tree desirable to make one wise she took of his fruit and ate she also gave to her husband with her and he ate and then going down to uh 12 then the man said the woman you gave to to me she gave me of the tree and I ate and the Lord God said to the woman why is it that that you have done and the woman said the serpent deceived me and I ate so so we have this like picture unfolding of I'll say a drama happening in the Garden of Eden before this it was all fine in Dandy they were enjoying life they were enjoying each other they were enoy joying all the blessings that God had provided But Then There came that Serpent and I would like to also read in Romans 5:12 it says therefore just as Sin came into the world through one man which we know is Adam and Eve and death through sin and so death spread to all man because all sinned you know in this story we see like a blame game going on like Adam is blaming Eve Eve is blaming the serpent the serpent is like hey I got nothing to do with this you know you know he's like got his little hands up because it says like he was walking you know back then before God cursed the snake but but everybody's blaming each other and when you look at this world everybody's blaming each other nobody can come to a compromise and to a solution the politicians are constantly blaming each other for one evil for the next evil the people are constantly blaming each other because somebody hurt them or because maybe they got ripped off or whatever it could be there's constant blaming and the reason why is because it comes after the fall of mankind it's in our nature as bad as it is it's in our sinful nature to blame each other you know and and so we look at this story and we and we ask ourselves where's the the like origin of sin where did it come from where did all this pain and suffering and evil come from when God created Humanity to love each other to enjoy each other to live forever and we see that sin has entered the world through Adam and Eve the definition of sin is to disobey to disobey to go against a Divine Law God he he absolutely gave gave everything to Adam and Eve he absolutely gives everything to us he spoils us he provides for us and to those that don't have much he even takes care of them because like the Bible says God knows when a piece of hair comes out he knows God is in control of everything he knows the pain and suffering he himself suffered from the people that are suffering so God knows what it is to suffer over here going back to Genesis 3:3 has God indeed said You shall not eat of every tree of the garden you know it's it almost seems that like the serpent is just asking a question has God indeed said You shall not eat of of every tree of the garden I mean it's a question but behind the the question there's intention and Eve didn't know his intention CU she was not God you know and so and so over here we see that in our daily life that that thing Always Rings the question always rings does the bible really say I can't do this that is the whisper of that serpent does the bible really say I can't live this kind of Lifestyle I mean the Bible says a lot but there's certain things it does not say because like they say if they write everything in the Bible no no human would be able to read the whole thing it would be so huge that's why we have conviction that's why we we have the Holy Spirit you know that teaches us and guides us and so we hear this question even today does God really say that and the woman explains to him she's she's trying to to have a conversation with the serpent like yeah I mean God did say it wasn't like God didn't say and she was guessing but over here it says God did say we may eat the fruit of the Trees of the garden but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden God said You shall not eat nor shall you touch it lest you die God's like listen you guys can have the apple trees the peach trees the pink trees the blue trees any tree just don't touch that one just don't touch that one and the serpent he wasn't hanging on the peach tree that was allowed he was hanging on the tree that wasn't allowed the deception like why not this tree why not this tree maybe God didn't really mean that and here he strikes with a lie then the serpent said to the woman you will not surely die for God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God knowing good and evil you know he says some truth but he also says some lie the truth is and you will be knowing good and evil before they only knew good God didn't want them to know evil because God wanted them to enjoy life forever they were created to live forever in joy in peace in harmony even the the animals the Lions the cheetah the whatever the snakes they had no evil in them they were all just just having a good time and so over here Satan says some truth but then he also says a lie you will not surely die you know and we know that since that day people surely die and we will surely die and everybody who comes to this earth will surely die because of this deception that Satan deceived Adam and Eve and to this day another lies that you will be like God to this day people are trying to teach to to reach that they are trying to reach that I want to be like God and right now these chips are coming out the the like all knowing chips that that you can be all knowing it's past 8,000 years Adam and Eve already dead long time ago and they did not reach that level and nobody will because because even when the humanity is going to reach that level of say all knowing it's all knowing only based on what it knows it's all known based on what it sees but it's not all known based on what it doesn't see because this universe is so huge and the heavens are so big so they will never reach the all knowing that God has another deception that still to this day nobody was able to reach to be like God then later we read so when the woman saw that tree was good for the food that it was pleasant to the eyes and a tree desirable to make one wise she took of its fruit and ate and she also gave to her husband with her and he ate and at that moment what had happened everything that God told told them not to do they did and everything God told them that what the punishment is going to be it happened but everything that the devil promised them didn't happen it didn't happen because once again the nature of the deceiver this the devil the Satan is too lie in Romans 512 it says again I'm going to read therefore just as Sin came into the world through one man and death through sin so death spread to all men because all sinned so now we see the the origin of sin now we see the origin of pain and suffering because after this event there was nothing but pain and suffering we read later on that that Cain murders his brother Abel we read later on that Wars breakout we read later on that people start worshiping Idols they start sacrificing children after that moment all the pain and suffering began and it was not God's doing and to conclude my message today my dear friends we saw like we read and we discussed how sin came into this world it wasn't through God it was through Satan the deceiver he deceived Adam and Eve which happen to be our parents great great great great by a million parents and we have that same nature but God gives a way out to all to all who were deceived he gives a way out and as we know it's through his son Jesus Christ but those that do not know those that are still blaming God for all the pain and suffering God never created pain and suffering he created love and peace and if you're blaming God for your struggles the only one that's laughing is the devil because that's his deception to blame God all the way to hell to keep on blaming him until you die and you go to hell and he won but we know our God is a loving God and His nature is love and next week we will continue our topic God is love and why is there's so many so much pain and suffering in this world and we will find out that through all of it God is love let's pray e amen amen and brothers and sisters if the Lord puts it on your heart to give today to our Ministries to our Outreach I'd like to read a verse um from acts 2035 it is more blessed to give than to receive um and so if the Lord puts it on your heart to bless uh this church today May uh he do
