By His Wounds We Are Healed

e e e e e e praise God brothers and sisters for this beautiful morning even though it's a little gloomy but we can find a little bit of sunshine in every day um so I'd like to read from habac 3:2 Lord I have heard of your Fame I stand in awe of your Deeds Lord repeat them in our day and our time make them known in Wrath remember Mercy Mercy you know God is faithful he has he has worked before and he is still working now and today let's seek him to move in our hearts and you know his Mercy it it meets us here today so uh with that being said let's stand up and let's pray for this service Lord God we thank you for this beautiful morning you've given us Lord and we ask you and we pray fill this place the Holy Spirit God touch our hearts Lord speak through us uh speak to us through sermons Lord God through the singing Lord help us to understand what is being said to our hearts today Lord and help us not to leave empty-handed Lord but with something new Lord in Jesus name we pray amen that fls my soul something happened and now I know he touched me and make me [Music] and um right now it's we're going to be uh praying for healing as we agreed uh last week and before we do I just wanted to read a story in Acts chapter 3 and over here it's um where Peter shows that he is nobody but it's all Jesus Christ Acts chapter 3 now Peter and John went up together to the temple at The Hour of Prayer the ninth hour and a certain man laying from his mother's womb was carried whom they laid daily at the Gate of the temple which is called Beautiful to ask alms from those who enter the Temple who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked for alms and fixing his eyes on him with John Peter said look at us so he tells this person look at us so he gave them his attention expecting to receive something from them then Peter said silver and gold I do not have but what I do have I give you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk and he took him by the right hand and lifted him up and immediately his feet and ankles and Bones received strength so he leaping up stood and walked and enter the temple with them walking leaping and praising God God all the people saw him walking and praising God then they knew that it was he who sat begging for alms at the beautiful gate of the temple and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him now as the lay man who was healed held on to Peter and John all the people ran together to them in the porch which is called Solomon's greatly amazed so when Peter saw it he responded to the people man of Israel why do you Marvel at this or why you look so intently at us as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob the god of our fathers glorified his servant Jesus whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of pilate when he was determined to let him go but you did the Holy One and the just and asked for a murderer to be granted to you and killed the Prince of Life whom God raised from the dead of which we Are Witnesses in his name through faith in his name he has made this man strong so we see this story and we see this man he was lame in his feet and he couldn't walk but we see that it wasn't the power of Peter nor the power of John that made this man walk and today when we're going to be praying for healing it's not the power of Tim nor the power of of anybody here but it's the power of God who's going to make you well so today when he makes you well you give thankfulness to him glory to him and not to any of us because all we can do is pray for you and a short testimony I'd like to share before we start that uh about like three and a half months ago Gwen gave me or I found out that uh Gwen was in the hospital and I came there I called her I said uh Gwen is it okay if I come me and my daughter came to to visit her and I I was talking to her and seeing how she was doing she was not doing too well at that time but she was hanging strong and I asked one question I said Gwen knowing that she would come here on her wheelchair knowing that she would come here on her walker I said Gwen what's the one thing if you could ask from God what's the one thing you would ask from him and she said I want to walk again and I prayed for her I said Gwen put your arms where you want to be healed and I put my arms on her arms on her hands and I prayed for her since that day God showed a miracle and that was all his glory and that was his power today Gwen is walking she has no Walker with her she has no wheelchair with her and that's all glory to God and she even testified here at church how God healed her and today God can do the same to you it's not the power of man that gives healing it's the power of God and today Gwen is the testimony that God is alive and his miracles still exist so all those that are wanting to be healed I ask you to come forward those that that can't uh like stand for long you can just have a seat over there and we'll pray for you and I would ask the entire church to also stand up and maybe come closer let's surround them and then we'll pray for them so brother Allan we trust in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ the Bible says by his wounds we are healed yes so like where do you want to be healed my knee and my back your knee and your back okay Church brother Allan he says he wants his knee his right knee to be healed in his back brother Allan put your hand on where you want to be healed and we'll put our hand on you yeah okay put your lord Jesus Christ we stand here before you God we stand here before you because we believe in your power in your healing power God that you showed in the times of the Apostles that you showed today and we ask for the power of Jesus Christ to heal Allen's knee in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ be healed in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ Allan's knee be healed in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ be healed and we'll also pray for Allen's back okay Lord God we stand here before you and we're praying for Allan's back we know that you are our healer we know that you are our healer in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ be healed the back of Allen in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ Allen's back be healed yes from this day on May he be healed brother Allan be healed amen you can move back got panc Li problems okay where okay okay Andy is having uh pains in his uh pancreas and liver on the right side and so we're going to pray for him so Andy just put your hand where where the pain is and we'll pray for you Lord God we believe in the in the healing power of you Lord Jesus we believe in your healing power and you see Andy he's asking for your healing in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ heal Andy heal his a liver and pancreas in the Lord Jesus Christ may he be healed in the Lord Jesus Christ may he be healed in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ be healed Andy be healed amen amen my Lord God bring healing to him right now may Jerry be healed in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ amen you're you're mental okay okay we're going to pray for um what's your name again yeah Aban uh we're going to pray for him and that God heals him as well uh he has with his head and uh we're going to pray for his mental uh State yeah Lord God we bring this brother into your hands Fabian Lord God we bring this brother into your hands Lord God he came up Because he believes in your healing power Lord God and we know that you can heal in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ heal his his mental state in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ heal his bad thoughts Lord God may they may they go away Lord God you defeated them you defeated them on the cross and today we pray for healing upon upon able to get up his left knee hurts really bad but but we believe in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ Alex if you can put your hand on over this Lord God we bring Scott into your hands Lord God we bring Scott into your hands you see that knee has been bothering him for a long time Lord but we believe in your healing power and today and today Lord may you heal him in in the name of our Lord Psalm 413 the Lord s sustains him on his sick bed in his illness you restore him to full health Psalm 103 bless the Lord oh my soul and forget not all his benefits who forgives all your iniquity who heals all your diseases who redeems your life from the pit who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy Psalm 1473 he heals the Brokenhearted and binds up their wounds Jeremiah 17:14 Heal Me Oh Lord and I shall be healed save me and I shall be saved for you are my praise 1 Peter 2:24 he himself bore our sins in his body on the tree that we might die to sin and lift to righteousness by his wound W you have been healed Isaiah 53:5 but he was pierced for our transgressions he was crushed for our iniquities upon him was that chastisement that brought us peace and with his wounds we are healed in James 5:116 therefore confess your sins to one another and pray for one another that you may be healed the prayer of a righteous person has as great power as it is working with his wounds we are healed with the wounds of Jesus Christ who gave up his life for you and for me with his wounds we are healed and today my dear friends all who came up to be prayed for know that Christ has given you Authority he has blessed you with healing so when the devil the devil puts in your thoughts you have the authority to rebuke those thoughts he has given you the authority to rebuke those thoughts by his wounds we are healed and um some people say that God is not the same God as as as he was in the times of the Apostles but we see today that he is the same God he still shows his miracles and he still shows his mercy and if anybody here feels that they want to give their life to Christ you can come up and we'll pray for you you can come up and we'll pray for you but if not I would like for all of us to stand up and we're going to pray and um also we have some announcements after and so let's stand up and pray to to end our service Lord God we thank you we thank you for this wonderful day that you have given us Lord and we believe Lord God in your healing power we believe in your healing power Lord if the devil ever tries to put some doubt in the minds you have given authority to rebuke those thoughts and believe in your healing power Lord because you are the same yesterday today and tomorrow and forever and may your name be praised and glorified Lord in Jesus name we pray amen amen and um also uh uh brother Mike he wanted to come out and and say a couple words so Mike you can come out well hello everybody I don't know all of you but uh some most of you know me I guess um I've never given my life to Jesus before and I'm I'm ready to do this and it'sall amen best thing I could do with my life you know like that's where I want my life to be at is in the Lord's hands am I'm excited about it and full of joy about it and yeah I'm ready okay and um so I'm not I'm not good at this I need Pastor Henry but uh brother Mike you'll just have to repeat after me and then um needs and so I'm just going to yes Mike nebor okay and um before we do our prayer just our weekly schedule so Tuesday actually this Tuesday it's going to be cancelled I'm flying away I'll be back Thursday so the the public Bible reading on Tuesday is going to be cancelled but the Thursday 6 p.m. Bible studies uh will still be going uh brother Vlad he's going to be leading that in our Sunday service 9:00 a.m. but we also have our baptism next week and we have brother Allan and uh brother Mike they like I've spoke to them I've met with them many times and they're ready to take that step to dedicate theirself to God for got to start using them uh because they gave their life to to Jesus Christ amen amen Amen brother and that's going to be Saturday uh this Saturday coming up at 2 p.m. and it's going to be the the Esther Simplot Park the Esther Simplot park is in downtown so everybody is welcome invite your friends this is going to be a great day and then after the the baptism we'll stay for a little bit of the show yes right down the street yeah yeah Amen to that yes the same place I already took alen there so it's going to be a little cold water but it's okay I said you know a couple of minutes we can handle it um it's going to be a lake over there and so uh we're we're excited to to meet everybody there and after we're going to have some barbecue so we'll invite it we're inviting everybody so please come uh Saturday at 2 pm at ERS simpl Park okay let's pray Lord God we thank you we thank you God for loving us Lord God for blessing us this morning God for hearing our prayers Lord God and for hearing the needs of all those that were crying out to you Lord God may you bless each person that came out and bless each person here God may your Holy Spirit touch each heart and do its work in my heart as well as in in everybody else's heart May the seed Lord God that has been sown God show its fruit in our life Lord Jesus God we also pray for the week ahead of us and the and the baptism Lord God we just ask for the power of the holy spirit to guide this event to guide this event Lord this is a big event for Allan and for Mike and we bless them Lord God we bless them and also Lord Jesus we pray for the needs of Gwen God her husband needs needs some healing healing in the soul lord God healing from his addiction Lord God and we believe and we know God that you can set him free and today we're praying for him God that you start working on his heart and that you set him free from his addictions Lord God and also his healing of of his mental state Lord God we believe in your healing power as we heard today that you can heal him and bless him Lord God we also pray for uh for Mike's neighbor Lord God may may you heal his mom Lord you see that this is a need that that Michael said he's going to pray for and we as the church we're praying for that need as well because we believe in your healing power and also we pray for Allen's need Lord Lord God well we already prayed for that but you give him the courage Lord next week or on Saturday to take this step and to be excited and to be happy that he is going to be a part of you Lord God may your name be praised and glorified in Jesus name amen Our Father in heaven Hallowed Be Your Name Your Kingdom Come your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven give us this day Our Daily Bread forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us lead us not into temptation but Deliver Us from the evil one for your kingdom your power and Glory forever are yours amen be blessed [Music]
