e e e e e e good evening friends um it's good to be with you all here today um to see you guys and your smiling faces um we are the Great Commission missionary school and behind me are um mainly the students from this semester uh they've been here at school since January and for 3 months so far they have been growing in the relationship with the Lord they've been growing in their knowledge of God of scripture um we just had the chance to go to Mexico a couple of weeks ago and we held a uh 10-day missionary trip there and now we're here on our stage trip um Idaho is our first location and I think we're blessed to have you guys I see some of our hosts here today guys thank you for having us um just treating us like kings and queens over this weekend so um may the Lord bless you guys um before we start the service um we'd like to ask God to bless it and I wanted to share just a couple of thoughts before we get into it um I was actually reading in a book today um book by Jim Sima he's a pastor of the Brooklyn Tabernacle I believe the church in New York and there was an interesting quote that he wrote um that actually a New Zealand pastor had come up and just shared at his church and it said that you can tell how popular a church is by who comes on Sunday morning morning okay you can tell how popular the pastor or evangelist is but who comes by who comes on Sunday night but you can tell how popular Jesus is by who comes to the prayer meeting and tonight we don't want it just to be a pack schedule and just a performance or whatnot where this is just something we do on a regular Sunday but we have come here to meet with God and we believe that he wants to meet with us he wants to speak to us um he is our source of life we we cannot walk this life without him the Christian Life in Ecclesiastes 5 verse1 it says Ecclesiastes 5:1 walk prudently when you go to the house of God and draw near to hear rather than to give the sacrifice of fools for they do not know that they do evil you see here that the author here he encourages that those were Drawing Near to the house of God and in that time it was to bring sacrifices and and to come and present offerings before the Lord to look at the intention of the heart when you're Drawing Near rather than just to check off something or offer up an sacrifice up to God rather he he encourages them to draw near to hear and I believe if we want God to speak to us today if we want God to strengthen us and do that we need to be in the position where we are ready to hear from the Lord sometimes there's some things maybe that we've done through the week that have grieved the holy spirit that is not a reason why we should just close ourselves off from God Jesus has made a way for us to have peace with God that was through his blood on the cross he died for our sins that we can humbly accept that Lord I've sinned I've I've done wrong please forgive me please draw me near to you restore to me the joy of my salvation and help me continue walking forward really it's not what we can bring to God and it doesn't even compare all that we could bring to God does not compare to what he can give us to the word that he can speak to our hearts um to the strength that he can give us the the calling on our lives and so let's go ahead and we'll stand up and we'll ask that God blesses this service um that it wouldn't be just another visit from another missionary school or or one out but that we would all as as one heart as in in Unity come together to seek the face of God all individually because we need our Lord we need him so much so let's ask that he would bless the service every song every testimony every sermon not for the sake of the people doing it or singing it or sharing it but the for the sake of everyone here for the fellowship for the glory of God Amen let's pray thank you Jesus Lord Lord for this day God that you've given us Lord we thank you God that we are able to draw near to you today Lord we thank you God that we can draw near to you Lord God Lord that you want to speak to your people Lord God Lord Jesus for you say in your word God it is better to obey God than to offer sacrifices Lord oh God help us Lord God come to you with a listening heart today oh God Holy Spirit we pray God that you would break away the defenses that we've built up in our hearts God Lord God the the the walls God that stand in in the way of you speaking to us of you touching our hearts today Lord and would you speak today Lord God we pray for your blessing God over the worship Lord God as we lift up your name as we praise you God that you would be glorified God Lord that would fill us God with your joy with your peace God that we would worship Lord God what you have done on the cross for each and every one of us Lord God we pray God that you would bless the words God that are spoken Lord may you give them a word Lord God from you Lord God may you give them the word of the Lord to share with us God lord living bread God that we may be able to partake Lord God lord and that it would give us strength God in our walk with you Lord God we pray God for the testimonies that will be shared Lord may you give the speakers boldness God to share Lord God lord not what Lord God they have done their lives God but what you have brought them through Lord God lord Jesus that you are Jesus name we pray amen good evening church God is good to us that we could be gathered together um to share this evening to Worship the Lord together amen uh we're from Great Commission missionary School in Portland Oregon and so I'd like like to share a little bit about the school but before that if we can go ahead and play the video which will give a brief overview and I'll share a little bit more and also a short word into prayer have you ever encountered God do you know who he is do you know what he wants from your life hi my name is Ilia star ver and I'm the director here at the Great Commission missionary school gcms is a place where you're able to truly encounter the Living God of the Bible where you get to know him personally and be completely changed GC creates an atmosphere encouraging a person for Change and something begins to happen when a person leaves behind all their daily distractions to focus into the heart of God and having a relationship with him the program is designed to build foundations of Faith through classes and teachers as well as through the daily time in word and in prayer the school is a place of healing where we address different strongholds and wounds of the Soul through discipleship and through mentorship and we get to to seek out our personal calling in Christ through our program's Hands-On Ministry experiences and one of the most precious things is that we get to do all of this together in Fellowship encouraging each other as we pursue Jesus Christ my name is dimma TGA and I'm the missions coordinator at GC after the semester ends you have the opportunity to go on a missions trip and to be a part of a Ministry I believe we are all called to a mission some at home others far off to be a missionary is simply to be someone with a purpose and a mission for the kingdom of God you'll be able to do just that we currently have bases in multiple places in the world ranging from churches discipleship centers orphanages and rehabilitation centers all with one purpose to reach those far off for Christ and to preach freedom to the captives in Matthew 281 19-20 Jesus proclaimed the Great Commission saying go therefore and Make Disciples of all Nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to obey and observe all things that I have commanded you and behold I Am With You Always to the End of the Age so if you're looking to get to know God to really know who he is to grow and deepen your relationship with them being equipped and trained for the ministry back at your local church or in the mission field look God has a plan and purpose for your life are you willing to answer the call I would like to invite you to join us at this upcoming semester at the Great Commission missionary [Music] school so that uh brief video gives a little bit of insight in uh what we do at the missionary School uh we have a 4month semester that's coming up in August to December and the students that are behind me these wonderful people have a dedicated four months of their life at the moment a season uh which I think is very short four months is very short in our life um and then they'll be going to missions for uh six months in various places in the world and serving and being a blessing there you know one thing I believe is that to fulfill the Great Commission effectively a person needs to love God first and foremost because when a person genuinely loves God he cannot just be quiet when a person genuinely loves God he genuinely loves people and and that's what it takes to reach somebody that's what it takes because it says in the word of God if you say that you love God but you hate your neighbor you're a liar because there's no way you can have the love of God inside of you and hate the person next to you and I do believe that it is the love of God that compels us to share the gospel to reach people to search for the those who are lost not just in other nations yes in other nations but also in our neighborhoods in our communities in our workplaces the Great Commission fulfilling that it's to reach all nations it's a command that Christ has left us with the church that is still here that if we're not going to do it who's going to fulfill it that's a command to the church the Great Commission go and make disciples of all Nations you know know today earlier I was talking about a tax collector uh ezekias and um I might have said a little too much short joke so I'm going to talk about a another tax collector his name is Matthew um Matthew 9 UM 9-13 it has these words um and there's a really powerful insights I believe to fulfilling the Great Commission and then we'll pray uh Matthew 99 13 it says this as Jesus passed on from there he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office and he said to him follow me so he arose and followed him now it happened as Jesus sat at the table in the house that behold many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples and when the Pharisees saw it they said to his disciples why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners when Jesus heard that he said to them those who are well have no need of a physician but those who are sick but go and learn what this means I desire mercy and not sacrifice for I did not come to call the righteous but Sinners to repentance amen we see Jesus's heart is after the people who are lost Jesus came and died for Sinners you know Apostle Paul says that he said he came and died for Sinners of whom I'm the chief of Sinners you see the reality is this is sometimes we lose sight of the heart of God and the Heart of God is a heart of compassion to the broken people um I think when we lose our first love we begin to lose our love for people also we begin to uh disregard the necessity of sharing the gospel of of reaching people in need of extending the help in Hand of looking beyond the exterior because the exterior Matthew is a tax collector and he had many friends who were Tax Collectors clearly because as he was in the house the Pharisees saw that there's a bunch of tax collectors they're having a party over here with Jesus and the question was to the disciples they're kind of scared to ask Jesus or something maybe they didn't want to make their way in they probably didn't make their way in they're probably just looking in because otherwise they' be counted upon as the as the guys hanging out with the tax collectors and Sinners and they kind of told the disciples hey why is your teacher hanging out with tax collectors and sinners he's with them in their house and Jesus hears the question and he says why don't you go learn something thing okay he says go and learn what this means because clearly they haven't learned this yet that he desired Mercy more than sacrifice sometimes we make a big emphasis on sacrifice sacrifice this you need to serve you need to sacrifice you need to sacrifice you need to sacrifice you know the real sacrifice is Mercy because the reason why Christ sacrificed him himself was not for the sacrifice itself but that sacrifice was to show Mercy to humanity to forgive sin that sacrifice to be able to forgive your brother that sacrifice to be able to love someone not just on words but indeed that sacrifice and so he desires Mercy more than sacrifice and I do believe that in fulfilling the Great Commission we need the love of God the compassion in our hearts to be able to look at the people who are broken who are hurting and to reach them to not look down upon them but to look and see the soul of that person that's hurting and broken inside that the blood of Jesus has paid for them a high price amen and so may we rise and pray that God would give us a heart of compassion to people in Jesus name Hallelujah Heavenly Father we come to you right now in Jesus name Lord we thank you for the blood of Jesus Lord that redeems us that has paid a high price for us that makes us a new thank you for your spirit God thank you for the life that you have breathed into us thank you Father for your goodness and Grace that you desired Mercy Lord and you gave Mercy thank you Father that you went above and beyond to reach us Lord who are lost in Sinners God and we need you and we believe that there are many more out there who are sinners who are lost and you are sending us to reach them God and we pray that as we do that that we would walk in a manner worthy of the Gospel filled with compassion Lord that when people would see us they would indeed know us by the love that we have for one another by the overwhelming forgiveness and Grace and Merc Mercy that we show to people the ability Lord God to extend a hand in need God we pray Lord God that you would soften our hearts Lord God to be more like yours God we thank you Jesus that you have showed us a different way a way of life Lord God a way of Truth Lord we thank you God that through you you have made it possible and we just ask you God that you would urge us and lead us to continue to reach those who are in need Lord God to be the Salt and Light to this world Name Your Great Name Your Great Name your great [Music] hello Church my name is Dima lukashevich I'm from UDA New York I'm here with the school and um I'm going to talk about how God has really been working in my life these past few months and um it was really nice leaving dayto life with school worrying about things like family money what's next and just focusing on God and spending time drawing closer to him in in the word and prayer and um as I drew in closer to him he revealed to me how how bad I am how I really need him and uh I realized that I'm not good enough and that I need to rely on him that he is my strength and um it made me realize that the way I used to live my the way I viewed Christianity before of just going to church on Sunday going to church on Tuesday it wasn't good enough that I thought that was what saved me but it's not the works it's not how much times I go to church it's actually the grace through faith that saves us so yeah um it's been a blessing coming to the school and I just want to let everyone know that it doesn't doesn't matter where you are or what you're doing it's Jesus that saves you he's the one that changes your life and uh he's willing to meet us any time anywhere as long as we we come with a willing heart and we just ready to to see him to hear from him and um I want to read a verse 2 Corinthians 5:17 therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation the old has passed away behold the new has come and um I'm just ready to see what God has in store for me next and now I don't I don't rely on myself I Look to Him for my strength every day and it's been amazing just to have a true relationship with him to know him every day and to seek him constantly and consistently and um that's want to let you guys know it's just seek Him wherever you are I know everyone's busy everyone has things going on but just seek Him in any any free time you have surrender everything to him and give it all to him cuz he is worthy of Our Praise he is worthy of our life and that's all we have to offer amen praise God dear brothers and sisters my name is l I'm originally from uh the state of Washington and today I also wanted to testify what the Lord has been doing in my life um it's interesting it's very similar to what uh dimma just shared um it's about how much I need the Lord every day um a little bit about me um later in my teen years the Lord began to draw me to himself in a very special way um and I had a big desire to get to know him have a relationship with him and it was a friend who had just come back from one of the semesters here at the school and she began to testify to me about what God did and all that happened and I was just so inspired because I saw how she spoke of the Lord and I was like I want to know God in that way where he's real to me like he's my God he's my savior and so um you know that next year until I actually came to the school the Lord began to do um a very big and special work in in my heart and he began to exposed to myself my sin and how much I needed him and I needed the gospel I needed that the blood of Jesus Christ that sacrific to wash me clean and I came through the school and and I learned um I began to learn what it was to walk walk um a Christian Life with the Lord how to walk with him and afterwards I went on missions I went home for some time and then I came back um and now I've been serving for a couple of years there um and something specifically that I wanted to share was um something that has been happening in the last few months Mon and I think one of the greatest testimonies and anything that I could share is um that God has been revealing himself to me and I think that's the biggest blessing and honor that you know us as Believers we can have is that God chooses to reveal himself to us and that's one of the greatest parts of you know being a Believer and and walking with the Lord is that we get to have fellowship with him and get to know him and um in the at the end of the of last year was my birthday and I have a friend who asks the Lord for something on her birthday and so she inspired me and I was like okay I'm going to ask God something on my birthday and two of the things that I asked the Lord for was for him to reveal himself as a uh as a father to me and for um him for me to return to my first love for him and these next few months not knowingly um the Lord has really been leading me through that and answering that prayer and so if there's anything I can for sure testify is that God answers prayers and he's been answering that prayer um you know a few months ago the beginning of this year um God just really began to open to me of how much I needed to spend more time with him and I think in Ministry we can get very busy and and sometimes if I'm going to be very honest um it seems like I just came to the Lord because I needed you know I needed something to share with people I needed something to share with students um I just needed something from God so that I could keep going but God um just really began to specifically show me hey like you actually you know there's a relationship where like we're act there's a relationship between us and and it's not just you know you always coming to receive for you know whatever Ministry you're doing but it's so that we can actually just fellowship and we can spend time together and you know that I could just sit at the feet of Jesus and and get to know him um because that's what calms my soul that's what satisfies me um it's you know as much as it's nice to serve it's it's Christ himself who truly satisfies and and so I there's a lot of moments where I had to you know surrender and um you know God just continued to show me he's like hey like um again like you're just coming to me like you're not coming to just spend time with me but you're you're coming to just receive something and then you leave you leave so quickly and and I realized like I I set goals for myself after um at the beginning of this year goals of like okay I'm going to do this and I'm going to spend time with the Lord here and and do it like this and do this differently and you know after a few months I look back and I'm like man I did not do very good at achieving those goals and I'm sure there was a lot more that I could have invested into um you know reaching those things that I in a sense strived for and I come to I came to the Lord and and there's just like this lie of the enemy that keeps coming of like hey like you know it's over like you know just give up like whatever you know just continue going through the motions and um and there's times and I I do just want to give up I do just like man I'm I'm tired of trying like I'm just tired and every single time that I come to the Lord in prayer and every time I just come sincerely every time I just said God like I just need you like I I don't know exactly how to do this I you know and it seems like I've been walking with the Lord for a few years but I still come to that realization of I don't know what I'm doing sometimes and I need you Jesus and um I wanted to testify that he is a good father and he's a good shepherd and every single time that I came on my knees before him he would help me he would help me get back up and keep going and I think that's something I just really want to encourage you guys today is that it's okay not to be perfect you know we're not supposed to be we're not supposed to have it all figured out but every time that we do come before the Lord just sincerely he he does respond and and he is enough to help us up and and to keep us going and and to lead us and to do it with a joy to do it with a passion and and to just continue walking forward and and that's something I just want to share that God has been leading me through this you know these last few months in specifically of just learning how to receive his grace and be like you know what God like again I need you give me that strength and and you know let's keep going um and so I want to encourage you you know if you find yourself in that kind of place you may come to the Lord and and he will he will help you he is a good good father who does have enough Grace for us in Jesus name God bless you praise God friends um the song we're about to sing is called there was Jesus and as Lena and Dio were sharing their testimonies um I realized that the song actually relates to quite a bit what they were in and I think in all of our lives in one way or another um this song kind of talks about how um you know every time that like the first line says every time I try to make it on my own every time I try to stand and fall um that in the healing in the Brokenness in the in the waiting in in the searching when when the things in in our lives are crashing down um when we look back on it we see that Jesus was there the whole time um that those things weren't happening for no reason um but that God was somehow using that all to to turn it for our good and it's interesting that sometimes we only see that in the past um but I want to encourage in my prayer um for us all today is that we would see Jesus here today you know I I was in that place like the song says when the life I built Came Crashing to the ground when the friends I had were nowhere to be found there was a time in my life where everything started Crashing Down uh friendship started leaving out of my life Co hit College was gone work was too much and ultimately it led me to this place of just Brokenness and just a place of like God I don't know what to even do like L was saying where we get to that place we're like God I don't know I'm weak I can't and you know that's the place that God can do the most sometimes we think we we have it so figured out in our lives like the plan that we have for our lives so we have we have everything figured out we think it's going to go great but God sees and God truly knows what is good for us and sometimes he has to allow us to come to that place of of Brokenness he has to come allow us to come to that place of not being able to rely on ourselves so we cry out to him and we realize he's there he's holding our hands and there was a time in my life you know when when like I said my life Came Crashing to the ground but even today like L was saying I need to realize that hey Jesus is with me that the things I'm going through right now or not for no reason you know if if someone here is in in the waiting if you're asking you're searching God where are you or God I I don't know if I believe in you God is is this real God what are you doing in my life God is there any way that you could use it for the good I want to remind you and tell you that Jesus is with you and he's leading you open up your heart he's going to guide you he's going to lead you because Romans 8 verse 38 says I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our lord amen [Music] every time I to make it on [Music] my every time I try to stand and start to fall know those lonely roads that I have traveled on and there was [Music] Jesus the laugh I buil Came Crashing to the ground oh yeah the friends I had were knowwhere to be found I couldn't see it then but I can see it there was Jesus there was Jesus in the waiting in the searching in the healing and the Hur like a blessing bued in The Broken Pieces every minute every moment where I've been and where I'm going even when I didn't know it or couldn't see it there was Jesus for this man who needs amazing kind [Music] of for forgiveness had a price I couldn't pay I'm not perfect so I thank God every day there was Jesus there was Jesus while in the waiting in the searching in the healing and the hurting like a blessing bued in The Broken Pieces every minute every moment where I and where I'm going even when I didn't know I couldn't see it on the mountain in The Valleys oh in the shadows of the at oh oh in the fire in the flood didn't know it or couldn't see it there was Jesus praise [Music] God you may be seated um so let me check my notes here so first of all thank you guys for coming to Boise Idaho and you know preaching singing and um the testimonies you know they're great to hear I don't think we've heard better singing than that you know so thank you and um as you could tell uh we had a little bit of fun yesterday we got a little bit sumber maybe you could see from my face got a little bit summer but um yeah some guys are somewhere back there so we had a little bit of fun you know but you know the whole point for us is to gather together and to praise the one and only God and you know we just thank Jesus Christ for dying on the cross for our sins and resurrecting 3 days later you know um so I got notified that you know the Great Commission missionary schools in the process of raising funds actually uh for their uh the woman's building so what we're going to do is we're going to try to bless them today you know with a round of tithing that we'll be doing and I like to read from 2 Corinthians chapter 9 uh verse 6-8 remember this whoever s sparingly will also reap sparingly and whoever SWS generously will also reap generously each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give not reluctantly or under compulsion for God loves a cheerful giver and God is able to bless you abundantly so that in all things at all times having all that you need you will abound in every good work um yeah so let's uh let's try to bless our brothers and sisters as you can see right here we got the QR forgive us you know I don't know what how well they're doing hopefully they're behaving and doing good uh if anything just let us know and um we will deal with it um but uh we're really grateful to be in the house of God and to be here in Boise and to be in your church and to be with you guys uh and we're really blessed uh to be here um I don't have a lot of time I know church is already over technically but if you just give me a few more minutes and I think we've heard a lot of everything that's been spoken and there is kind of a common theme throughout the whole evening tonight and um I didn't know I had this thought coming in today as we were stepping into Service uh I'm not a big musician um and uh nor do I sing too much I mean I try to sometimes uh it doesn't go over uh very well all the time but um I had this song in my heart no I'm not gonna sing so so so clearly um but um but we we sang it one time a long time ago when we were doing a trip I mean I've been doing this ministry for about 10 years now um and uh you know we had a different name and then the last 2017 you know we had opened up a Great Commission missionary school um at the end of the year and so been you know traveling a little bit and and working with the youth and all that and one of the uh the the services uh think the the group song or some who was singing the song and um it's the title of it is how we need the river um and and part of the the lyrics goes how we need the river how we need the rain living water flow to us again we pray um shower down your glory shower down your grace and so for and so forth um and I was just thinking I was kind of just singing to myself I'm like God that's what I need today I was like I need the River today I need the rain today and I'm just kind of thinking to myself you know throughout the the service today and then the people start sharing I'm like yes that's exactly what I need today uh to be strengthened in God you know to to receive Grace from God the Bible calls us it's uh Apostle Paul speaks to Timothy in in chapter in second Timothy you know chapter 2 he tells him that you ought to be like a good uh soldier that doesn't entangle himself with everyday Affairs but you're ready to do God's work telling him that you have to fight this fight like a soldier then he goes on to tell them that you have to be like this uh uhh this athlete who runs the race right to fight this fight like a soldier run the race like the athlete then he tells them you have to be like a farmer and keep your faith that when you plant something begins to grow and there's this process that we have to have patience that we that that we have to fight that we have to stay disciplined that we have to keep moving forward there's a pressure sometimes doesn't life bring pressure sometimes to us but we don't have to do it by ourselves you know when we can trust in God we can come to him and receive strength from him come when I have four kids at home I know every mom here needs some extra Grace today uh some extra strength today from the Lord because you know we have our physical strength and but but there's something special when God touches our heart when we have a song in our heart and you can go through a difficulty in your life but when you're connected to God when you're connected to div Vine there's a song that begins to sing and and it could be tough but God gives you strength and people can look and say well how is it possible that you can do this and endure that or whatever other hardships that people might face and challenges and and pressures of life but when you're connected to God you're able to receive from him and we've come today not to preach at anybody at least I didn't sometimes I come out and I feel I have to like yell at people but you know my uh uh intention if you will as we're coming to service today I was like God I am coming because I need you today and I need your spirit today I need strength today Direction um it's really nice when you're stressed and overwhelmed uh besides picking up my newborn baby that just feels all my stress goes away uh the other thing is that when you just get on your knees or whatever however you de with and you get in the presence of God and it just feels just for that moment like everything that of life you know you know how how it is sometimes everything just you can just put it away and like you know what it's going to be okay God's going to take care of it and actually you know 50 years from now nobody is going to care about anything that you're going through most likely if you're still going to be alive and you begin to realize there's a different perspective on reality and the beautiful thing about the scriptures and and the grace of God it shows us that there's an eternity and it's not here but there's an eternity and and and and and we're not here for a long time but we're here for a very short amount of time and it's going to be okay no matter what happens we know how the story ends we know that God is going to be victorious we know he's coming back for his church we know that we're not here uh uh as as permanent residents but uh we are just strangers ambassadors if you will God has called us for a short season here on Earth and I it seems like if you're getting older and you think I've been here for 10 years it seems if you think it's a long time then you're you're still very young uh but as you get older you begin to realize the decade goes like this and time flies so fast and there's so many distractions and so many things that pull and take us away from God but today God has given us a wonderful opportunity to come before the throne room the grace room boldly before God and I don't know what you're dealing with today what kind of challenges you could be faced with I don't know the situation because it's very different in your life than it is in my life I know that for sure maybe it's more difficult in my life maybe it's much more difficult in your life I don't know but I do know that we can come to Jesus today and he can give us strength he can give us Grace man it's so awesome to see young people who will find themselves in God that's the biggest thing one of the things we teach people and you know we have about 20 people that serve at the school full-time and you want to teach him that it's not about the ministry it really isn't it's about your walk with God and it's not even about being filled one time with God and having an experience and coming to the Altar and having a great time it's actually about walking with God it's actually about being connected with God it's actually about living your life in such a way that that that that represents God that having freedom and victory you know we talk so much about God loves us so much he does they're preaching now but hear me the love of God changes us it convicts us doesn't just leave us there but it changes us and we can live in Victory we can live in Freedom we can live in peace we don't have to be angry we don't have to be mad we don't have to be lustful amen we don't have to be just you know overwhelmed by everything that this world puts on us in our flesh sometimes we don't have to be that way God gives us Victory I was staying at a house today um the house that I'm staying at in the husband he's he's a he's a bigger man but he's um been drinking this uh this special juice that his wife makes him or yeah his wife makes him she's like it takes you like three hours it's it's your typical Ginger and uh you know it's like tea and honey and lemon and and and uh chook is what garlic right so all this stuff I was going to take some but uh probably take some tonight and so she's like sitting there like oh I hate this stuff and he's like I have to drink it every morning you know you know why because he's he's looking for a higher quality of life especially at that older age and hear me today Jesus can give us the best quality life in him in him so if we are are calling Believers we don't have to be bound and we don't have to sit back and and be overwhelmed and stressed out all the time we can have a high quality life with God we can live in Victory do you do you just believe that that the spirit of God the works inside of us is real that means the things that sometimes we think is just who we are it's just our habits it's just part of our life we don't have to be that way we can come to him and be changed be strong strengthened as somebody said today we can make all these plans and this dis uh these disciplines and I'm all for that and I'm for fasting and I'm for prayer and I'm for reading your word and buckling up your belt and and getting things done because there's no other way around it right you have to do that but that that's you know sometimes have all these plans and you fall short you know especially when you watch a bunch of YouTube videos about people who are so successful and sometimes I talk to my wife she's like did you see this one lady she's the only I'm like I I don't care um and stop trying to be like her uh and let's focus on our own family the way we need to run it not how other people are doing their things and sometimes we get all this stuff and it's like hey hold on a second just slow down okay and do what you need to be doing with God and get right with him and walk with him and out of those things allow God to be glorified through your life and I know I'm not preaching out of the scriptures today I wanted to uh to to preach out of John chapter 4 um and it's a simple story we know thisen I'm not I'm going to be quick because I do want us to come into a time of prayer and I don't want to uh force or push anybody but I want to get into the presence of God to be refreshed I mean we have another week on the road we're leaving tomorrow morning to Montana at 6: 7 a.m. and we have service uh in Montana and then and then Wednesday we'll be in South Dakota uh having service there Thursday night we'll be in Sheron Iowa and then Friday night we'll be in indan no Iowa and then uh Saturday night we'll be in Minneapolis at a service and then Sunday morning next week will be in other services in Minneapolis and then I get to fly home when they drive home um but but it's still going to be a long trip you know and there's so I'm thinking like God I'm not trying to have all these messages prepared and planned and other people it's like I just want to be with you understand what you're doing and just and just allow the Holy Spirit to do his work and I'm thinking God I Need Your Grace today God I need fresh strength today in this time and so Jesus meets this Samaran women and he's as he's on his way out you can follow along John chapter 4 as Jesus is walking through um uh uh uh as he's making his way from Judea all the way down to to Galilee again and it says he had to pass through Samaria he didn't have to but he says he had to you know people would walk around and some some some uh commentaries would say that that he would have to take the longer route because he want to avoid certain people but can you believe today that J Jesus does not want to avoid you he doesn't want to walk around you and he doesn't just want to pass you by but he wants to meet you where you are at and find you to help you and sometimes you think well I'm just stuck in one place or I've just been kind of distant from God yeah you could have been distant but God is close by and you try to push him away sometimes but he's he's near can I say more can I say that he is here can I say the presence of God and you know that Jesus is here with us today when we're gathered in his name and that he sees us and even if we're going through our troubles as we heard today and and things that we don't fully understand today that even in the midst of those chaotic and problematic and uncertain things that even in those things in our life that Jesus is there and that he is present and he sees this and even when people maybe did not want to deal with the Samaritan women who you know had all these husbands and and and and maybe slept around or maybe had a tragic life and maybe she was casted out and maybe she wasn't accepted by the people around her and maybe people didn't really understand her and maybe you know maybe some of the husband she had she made a poor choice and and and maybe they died I don't know like maybe she had some some bad luck with in life and maybe things didn't turn out the way that she hoped they would turn out or wanted things to turn out and and she was pushed away at Jesus still still found her even his disciples were like seriously like why are you talking to her yet Jesus comes to find her and to speak to her you know and he tells her you know this conversation about having the water and give me a drink and and he says this words to her he says only if you knew the gift of God verse 10 says Jesus answered her and said if you knew the gift of God and who it was who says to you give me a drink you would have asked him I'm thinking today only if we knew what Jesus can give to us today only if we knew the gift from God that is present to us today the ability and the opportunity to come before him today come on us so Jesus speaks to her and you know you know what he tells her he says she says of course is given this water you know they're talking about the spirit and and um and he says to her um go call your husband do you know why because he's trying to get to the root of a problem and today Jesus doesn't just want to make you feel good or just to experience something but he actually wants to deal with your problem he actually wants to help you maybe bring forth Deliverance maybe some of us can't sleep at night maybe some of us can't you know find peace in our hearts maybe some of us are just feel stuck in our sins maybe some of us just feel like they have no direction or they just feel maybe stuck in their life come on God doesn't just want us to feel good to you know feel some Goosebumps right to pray in tongues to hear good songs and and and feel conviction but he actually wants to deal with the problem that we're facing he actually wants to go into that area of our life and and to bring it out I think it was Raven Hill who said that you know Revival is very unpleasant it's like the sewer bust open because all this junk begins to come out and that's what God has to do sometimes he has to kind of bring all this stuff out of our life because he actually cares for us he actually loves us deeply enough to not pass Us by but to deal with our issues and deal with our problems and deal with our wounds and and deal maybe with our our our stinky attitudes and our stench and our sin and our problems and and he actually cares about us and he's offering for us to come and to provide an answer for us and he's talking to this lady and I I love it because she becomes a great evangelist for her Nation or her people if you will the Samaritans right because the disciples are like come on like we brought food for you cuz they were hungry they went to get food and Jesus tells them look I have food food that you do not know about it is the food to do the will of my father there's something more important in our lives come on then to eat and just to live for ourselves but it's to do the will of him who has placed us here on Earth and I want to call us today in this time and there's a lot to share today but I really do feel that the way that the holy spirit's been leading this specific service has been leading us into a place of saying maybe you're not in the place where you need to be with God or maybe you're just you're just living your life but you're feeling tired overwhelmed maybe you're burdened by something doesn't have to even be sin maybe you're just living your life and you're like God I need I need strength today God I need Grace today maybe you experienced God and it it's been years since you've really felt the freedom in your heart from God through the Holy Spirit and you had a freedom to pray a freedom to worship joy and peace self-control is one of the spirits of God right the fruits of the spirit maybe there's things that just overwhelm us and then you're saying you know what God I need I need you today not the preacher not even the pastor and their place in their place in authority and their teach us and the US and amen of course but I need Jesus today God would you refresh my soul God would you give strength to me today God I want to know you like you've showed yourself before God I want to eliminate all these things that overwhelm me today God I want to come before you today in your presence coming before you uh to the throne room as the Bible says boldly to him come on is there anybody today that can say Jesus would you give me fresh strength today God would you renew my heart would you renew a steadfast spirit in me today God would you you rebuild my faith today God would you give me fresh strength today God can I leave this place full of faith faith for my family faith for my workplace Faith uh for for my Ministry God faith for the things that I'm doing God I need fresh strength today God I want to be renewed and restored come on there are so many testimonies I'll just share one and we'll we'll go into prayer I know my sister she came to to the Bible school years ago uh to the teen semester we have a teen semester also in the summertime for six weeks from ages 15 to uh to 20 sorry 15 to uh 17 um 15 to 17 and and um my sister came to the program years ago I mean this maybe five seven years ago and she came and she was at the uh you know she God changed her life and she was radically transformed all the good stuff and and she comes home and she can know gets carried away busy with life and uh she comes to visit one time and she uh as she came to visit uh you know she was kind of at the girls house doing her thing and then I came home and um you know was kind of late and she was with my sisters and my wife and they were kind of hanging out and I came home was maybe 11:00 and uh and I I run into the house and it was kind of late so I take a shower and kind of come out to get some tea or whatever before we go to bed and she's visiting for the night with some of my other sisters and I B I I I passed her by I didn't recognize her I come to the house and uh to the uh to the shower come out and as I'm walking back into the living room I see she's just crying and she's just like sobbing and and you know how girls I have three girls at home if if you count my wife I have four girls at home uh just got a boy praise God two months old at home God has been faithful and uh heard our prayers um you know girls are great I love the girls uh but it's nice to have one boy you know to have some backup um you know he's not much help yet but but he's we're getting there uh and but when you see their girls you know how they are sometimes and you know they they just let loose and in the and they're crying and everybody's kind of sitting on the couch and my sister's just crying and she she's she probably be be so mad if I keep sharing this but she's you know she's she's she's hyperventilating she's got this you know stuff coming out of her nose and she's she's like she's and I'm looking at her and everybody's calm and maybe just because it was the girls only and they felt like it was okay but really they were there and and and I'm like looking at her I'm like hey Liz like are you okay um is everything fine um you know like she go to the hospital um you know and and and she's telling me she's like hey I I came to the girls house house this was 7:00 she came and she's like we went to the girls house and uh they begin to sing a song and she says the moment they begin to strum the strings of that guitar uh she's like I just felt the presence of God come and she's like man it was like like years since I felt like just such a peace at that time she's like man I'm I'm talking to this boy she I shouldn't be talking to him and she's like you know what I feel like God's got a calling in my life she like I feel like God's got something for me and she's sitting there telling me all these things I mean it's been a few hours that she's been crying and I'm thinking to myself like that's so powerful I would just simple touch from God could just recalibrate everything in her life it could just reorganize everything the way it needs to be they could just remind us can just build Faith again they can just bring peace and just come into the presence of God can just really change everything come on if we can just get the living water today from heaven and we can just drink today from him how much change would that bring in our life today how much deliverance and how much Freedom how much joy and peace and I know I can keep preaching on this forever it's 30 that's what we call right 30 we have to go pray so I want to call us into our feet um we're going to go into a prayer and and I challenge us you know um can we come before Jesus today and and and and let me just actually challenge all of us today that's in this room maybe we need to find that strength from God today maybe that's you today maybe you need to get right and you need to get you know that that from what he needs to give to you today and and you want the church to pray for you to bless you today I want to make a simple altar call and if if if that's you today it's not even to make anything I don't want to pull your teeth out you know to come here I just want to say that if you need Jesus today and you're going through your battle you're doing your work you're doing your ministry and you're say man I'm feeling kind of dry I'm feeling kind of overwhelmed or I'm feeling kind of distracted I I need to get right with God today I want to come into His presence today maybe you're facing something in life and you don't see God in it then you're saying Jesus I want to commit this situation to you today God I want to get strength from you today God to be faithful God to do this right God to have a fresh strength and have the living water today come into my heart today come on we're going to come into prayer today if that's you today go ahead and just make your way forward and we will as a church pray for you and we'll bless you in Jesus name Hallelujah father we come before you today Jesus oh Hallelujah Jesus God we come before you today Jesus oh God we are in need today God we are in need today God like God of fresh Grace today God God of a fresh touch today God like God of your presence God of your spirit today God oh God not just God by man today God but from heaven today God I got a genuine touch today God oh God would you open up Heavens today God my God would you open up today God I God a fresh God I God outp pouring out of your spirit today God oh how we need the River today God how we need the rain today God oh God how we need you today Jesus my God to do the work God what no man can do today Jesus oh God we come before you today God oh God what you bring strength today God God to every father God to every mother today God oh God to every Minister today God I God to every leader today God I pray God In The Name of Jesus God would you bring fresh strength today God God oh God we come before you today God you see everybody that might be going God through a certain season in life God God that might be going through a certain continue sending forth your Reign today of your grace Lord bringing forth refreshment today God bringing forth restoration God bringing forth repairs God Jesus in our relationships between each other Lord Jesus we ask for Unity God we pray God In The Name of Jesus God we pray ask ask for Love Today Lord understanding Lord we thank you holy spirit that you love us that you speak to us God that you uh don't leave us and pass Us by today God but it is your great love Lord that sees every person where they're at today God you saw us God AAR yeah while we were still Sinners God you found us you save us God we thank you Lord we thank you God those that still that did not come out or might still be struggling with something God you see them Lord you see them today God and I thank you Father for the great love that you have for them Lord would you bring forth the change God that only you can we thank you for everything God we thank you for this time for this service for this church for the leadership God we ask for your blessing God and we give you all the glory in Jesus name we pray amen amen praise God my dear friends and um our service has uh come to the end and wow thank you thank you mg gcms you know we're we're happy that you came I talked to some of our youth and they're like these are good people praise the Lord they had a good time with you so we welcome you back again we welcome you back again um so after this uh we will go down to the gym We'll have something to eat and um I know you guys have a long week ahead of you may the Lord's uh bless and be abund abundantly on on all of you on the choir on the musicians the worship singers on this brother and especially on the leader I know it's it's not easy but you got to stick to it if it's a calling from the Lord praise God well okay we're going to we're going to end today's service and um like I said we're just going to go down to the gym and the youth I don't know what they have uh planned they don't invite me anymore I'm kind of old um sometimes I feel young but they're like get back back get back you know your place yeah but okay let's pray guys Lord thank you thank you for this night Lord Jesus we thank you we honor You And We Worship You Lord God because there is no other God but you Lord Jesus God and we worship your holy name because you are worthy my father my king there is nobody worthy but you God and we praise you tonight we praise you God because God you gave your life Lord God you gave your life when we didn't deserve you Lord and you found us when we were yet sinners Lord God and we worship you and we honor you and we praise your holy name for that Lord God we also bless this youth Lord God this school Lord Jesus God may they may they be used Lord God may you use them for your glory my father my king thank you God for this night and bless the and bless the rest of this evening Lord Jesus in in Jesus name we pray amen Our Father in heaven Hallowed Be Your Name Your Kingdom Come your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread for give us our sins forgive those who sin against us lead us not into temptation but Deliver Us from the
