The Gospel Call: Born Again and Sent Out

the first kind of this service English service of the year and of actual all time so uh uh I'd like to start off with a verse from Psalm 16:1 you will show me the path of life in your presence is fullness of joy at your right hand are Pleasures forever more so I kind of I liked um the sermon that we had today for our first service the first where it was kind of talking about you know having more joy in your life and kind of looking at life more positively because everybody has their own problems you know um they can be very complex and maybe you're praying for a very long time and it's very easy to kind of dwell on them and see life as as kind of negative but I'd like to encourage Us in this new year to kind of look at life positively and with joy in our hearts and kind of um how this Ser uh this U verse says um I think that we should kind of uh seek divide guidance Divine guidance from God and uh to pray for God's purpose and his Direction in this uh New Year and uh for him to just give us joy and a better attitude towards our life and that's kind of my wish for this year and may God bless everyone here so let's start off with a prayer Lord God we thank you for this time that you given us and we thank you for this new service that you have given us as well God and I ask you and I pray fill this place the Holy Spirit Lord bless the preachers bless the singers God we ask you to come down onto this place Lord and to bless everything all praise and glory be to you God Amen and we'll be singing Al together Worthy is the Lamb that was slain Worthy is who was slain my dear friends beautiful singing Beautiful playing thank you Youth and today we are gathered here for the first time our English service you know I was yeah praise God for that I was a little nervous for I'll say couple weeks and uh I shared with some of my friends I'm like I don't know why I'm like so nervous so scared um but today I'm really happy I'm happy that it finally came to be because I feel that God has something great for this church I do and so I just wanted to share a quick message to start off our new year because I feel that God wants to really use our Church you know we did our Christmas nights and I'm pretty sure everybody was a little busy and we invited friends and family and you know our youth went around over here around the neighborhood and they were inviting people and surprisingly there was a family that did show up so praise God for that and um I'm just thinking just this neighborhood just this neighborhood like all the homes here if they would come to our church we would need like three of these meetings there is plenty plenty of sewing to do and may more of these types of churches like open up because there is plenty of people to sew to and plenty of harvest to gather and I want to kind of mention this story it's when Jesus he like he got invited um to a teacher's home and they saw him uh the other teachers of the law saw saw him eating with tax collectors and sinners I don't know why Tax Collectors were so horrible that time but they were as bad as the Sinners so don't be a tax collector anyways but um but it's interesting in because in this story let's open up to ma or uh Mark chapter 2 and Jesus is Jesus is already like eating with them dining with them and um then the teachers of the law are saying him hey what are you doing you're sitting around with Sinners with tax collectors and you consider yourself a holy being how are you being with them and over here Jesus's reply is Mark 2:17 it says when Jesus heard it he said to them those who are well have no need of a doctor but those who are sick I did not come to call the righteous but Sinners to repentance and I'll say even though a church is a gathering of say um Christian people where it's like the saying like iron sharpens iron we come here to sharpen each other the word of God it sharpens each other but Jesus also opens up to us a new front that we are not here just on this Earth to constantly preach to the saved and sing to the saved but we're actually here to preach to the last and sing to the last as well if we like only just sit and sing to the saved and preach to the saved we are disregarding what Jesus did on this Earth and when and when we accepted Christ in our life we accepted exactly his path and that's to bring in the Sinners but to what to repentance to repentance and this gives us an opportunity and it encourages us each one of us sitting here here that if I have a friend in this world that if I meet somebody on the streets that is a sick um spiritually sick dying in this world we know where he can come and be healed you know this is kind of an introduction to my sermon that that I'll be saying in a couple weeks but a church it's for the Saints and for the Sinners um it's funny because Dr McGee I don't know if you guys know him uh he's a teacher uh he passed away but he said these words if you ain't a saint then you're an ain't you know and so we have to bring those sinners from this world to become Saints like Jesus Christ my dear friends I think it's a call for for each person sitting here that it's time to work it's time to work you know we've sat around way too long and kind of like I said iron sharpens iron and we preach to each other and we sing to each other and we sharpen each other but we cannot disregard those people that are dying not knowing Christ we cannot disregard them because even though we are saved but they are not and Jesus Christ is saying I did not come to heal the the people who are well but who are sick and we are here we took on that path of Christ to call on the sick on the ones that are hopeless and lost to say hey I know an answer to your problem and I know where you you can find comfort and I know who can understand you and bring them here that we can be a community that brings in the Sinners to repentance and makes them saints like Jesus Christ and that will be my sermon for today let's stand up and pray Lord God thank you for this night God thank you Lord God for making this happen Lord this is an opportunity this is an opportunity for each one of us to finally start working to finally start calling on the sick God into the hospital where people can come here and learn how to come to repentance and to be saved Lord I ask you strengthen each each person in this place strengthen us that we are not afraid to go out and to share the good news of Salvation Lord bless our church and bless this service and bless the worship and the preachers and everybody who came Lord may your Holy Spirit abound on all of us Lord God Lord God but at the end may your name be a God the number one praised and glorified amen amen amen and with that let's stand the night is dark but I am not forsen for by my side the savior he will stay I waver on in weakness and rejoicing for in might his power is display to this I hold my shepher will defend me through the deepest valley he will lead oh the night has been and I I overcome yet not I but through Christ in me no I tell I know I am forgi the future sure the price it has been paid for Jesus BL and suffer for my B and he was raised to overflow the grave to this I hope my sin has been defeated Jesus now whenever is my oh the CH are Rel I can sing I am free yet not but through Christ me with every breath I long to follow Jesus for he has said that he will bring me home and day by day I know he will renew me until I stand with joy Before the Throne to this I My Hope Is Only Jesus all the glory Glory ever to him when the race is complete still my lips shall repeat yet not I but through [Music] Christ okay this is my second time but not my last um but we're just going to have some some small announcements um so obviously our churches our our church decided to have this English service and um we we are looking for people who are ready to sacrifice some more time um so there's Ministries that are open and I will have a list next week ready for for anybody that wants to sign up for a Ministry so Ministry of like ushering uh we need we need Ministry of uh greeters um then like we need a person who can take this position and do the announcements uh so I don't have to come up like three times a service but um like if you guys oh yeah if you guys want to sing a song say a poem um if you feel that God has putting that on your heart you know that's also a Ministry before God you can do um but next week we will have a paper where if you feel that God is calling you to a certain Ministry just put your name down and um we'll get you situated and Zach he uh will train you how to be an usher and how to be a greeter he sent me like a whole a whole essay on how a greeter needs to greet and an usher needs to usher and I'm like man God is really putting this on his heart to be the teacher about that but and also we're actually so tonight is our first night of service but it's not our grand opening of service so um in two weeks actually I forgot to check my calendar uh in two weeks I believe it's the 21st right the 21st is that a Sunday so in two weeks from now we're going to have a grand opening so invite your friends um invite anybody uh like who you want to invite and and after the service we will go to the gym and have some snacks and some um uh Fellowship yeah yes thank you Mark um but that's the announcements for today so next week I will have a paper of Ministries that are available um and in two weeks we're going to have a grand opening of this of this English and all honor majesty and all Jesus have it all praise God praise God yeah well today I have to speak in English yeah yeah my wife asked me why you have such a big accent I'm like well that's that's what it is but I'll tell you what when I was closed up and so over there I was teaching and preaching yeah and at the same time we were exercising so and at some point I started leading the exercises as well so they may uh they came up with a name for me and I would like to ask how many of you know the movie called Terminator how many raise the hand okay so they start start calling me a teator yes so they would say well we're going to terminate all the Sinners actually yes so but anyway uh teachat but the the good thing is that this service and this um church will not be called a sinner Terminator because I don't think I'll be preaching so much in here so maybe but anyway so another another actually I told that story before when we were young uh I remember me Peter Paul and some other friends we went to Florida for a vacation and so while we were standing in a line and people hear us speaking in different language and they would ask us where are you guys from and I'm like uh Georgia they're like oh we never knew Georgian have that type of an accent so so next time we standed in line and they're like where are you guys from and I'm thinking well no one knows where the Georgia or Russia is so I told them Bo idah who they're like what country is that but that was before the Boise State football made Boise papler so they did not know where the idah was anyway so so but the reason I have accent because I was born in Georgia Georgia of Russia anyway so but today I do have a short message and um four points that I want to touch on today number one it's to talk about the meaning of gospel number two I like to talk about the concept of born again Christian and this is important because I do want to prepare you to start thinking what kind responsibility as a Christian you and I have because we have certain responsibility before the before God and before the community number three as a born again Christian what should we do and number four at the end I just like to pray for this service for a people who are responsible for this service and I want to remind you that you the youth and even a teenage youth you are the fabric of this service you are responsible for this we gave this actually service in your hands and as you know that brother team will be a person in charge of this service and um so whenever he will propose some kind of ministry take this as an opportunity from God do you know how God uh or or the doors when God opening before us do you know what kind Ministry I should you in it's when someone come and ask you can you do this that's an Open Door from God never say no if you have time and if you have ability just remember that could be an Open Door from God to you take this responsibility so in the like I said at the end I would like to pray for this service and for the people in charge of this service so Point number one definition of a gospel so if we just open a dictionary and I'm going to read the definition the message the gospel is the message message concerning Christ the kingdom of God and salvation that's what the gospel is the gospel is recorded in four biblical narratives we know the gospel of Matthew the Gospel of Mark the Gospel of Luke and the go Gospel of John so that's where it's written it's written about the life and death of Jesus Christ but in our simple words what is the gospel the gospel is the good news it is like a bulletin board and on a board in large fund it is written that good news for all people and what's the good news you can be saved that's what the good news of the Gospel the main question then save from what from sin who needs to be saved everyone we read in Romans 3:23 3:23 it states for all have sin and fall short of Glory of God and you know sin you your sin and my sin demands death and death it's a Eternal separation from God so if not Jesus Christ you and I have no way out we would be eternally in hell but fortunately you know Christ but how many people around you that doesn't know Christ and how many people around that you interact in school work and they going actually to hell and we just enjoying time with them and never tell never told them that they're they going to end up in hell and I know the way to heaven so start thinking about it but I do want like to ask in in order to share a good news of Salvation you yourself have to be a born again Christian the second Point what does it mean to be born again Christian first i' like to read from John chapter 3 verse 1 and down now there was a man of Pharisees named Nicodemus a ruler of Jews this name came to Jesus by night and said to him Rabbi we know that you have come from God as a teacher for no one can do those things that you do unless God is with him look Jesus Christ completely ignoring what he's saying Jesus answered and said to him truly truly I say to you unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God he's talking about about how great Jesus is and Jesus right away unless a man born again he cannot see the kingdom of God Nicodemus said to him how can a man be born when he is old he cannot enter a second time into his mother womb and be born can he Jesus answered truly truly I say to you unless one is born of water in spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God so who was Nicodemus Nicodemus we read in the Bible he was a Pharisee in our mind Pharisee associated with those bad evil people but in reality they were the scholars they were the teachers of La they were the theologians what we call nowadays they taught theology theology Theo God alley study study of God they were the teacher so Nicodemus he was a teacher now we would call him a theologian a teacher a preacher he knew about God a lot he was teaching people he was known teacher because Jesus Christ himself he told him that you are the teacher of Israel and you don't know that so even Jesus Christ knew that he was a teacher in Israel so he knew much about God and you know what and Jesus tells him if you will not be born again you will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven Jesus Christ wait he knows God he knows God very well he teaches other people about God you will not enter into heaven if you will not be born again so now let's bring this to our times we practically all most of us were born in Christian families and we know about God we're not atheists we know that God exists that God is there but the question is is it enough to be saved to know that God is there is it enough to be saved in epistle to James we read that even demons know that God exists and they even tremble before him a lot of time a lot of people nowadays they even don't tremble before God but that they know that God exists and even tremble before him that does not save them he does not save them you need to be born again what does it mean to be born again then if I was born in a Christian family if I know God and I may not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven to be born again it's to be born spiritually to be born spiritually it's to be followers of Christ just think of like this Christ is a fact founder of the path to Salvation and we become the followers he's the founder we're the followers that's what it's meant to be born again it's to tell Jesus Christ right now I want to follow you it's not enough to know about God it's to be the followers of Jesus Christ that's what mean to be born again it's not to be followers of a Christian Community it's not enough just to go to church it's to be follower of Jesus Christ and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that's what it's meant to be born again to be born again you are the New Creation in Christ you born spiritually it's not intellectual it's what happens inside of you and to be his disciples and so today I want all of you ask this question to yourself am I born again Christian and if not maybe I know Christ but I never truly told Jesus Christ I'm a sinner I need you in my life you only the one that can save me there was someone asked to a little boy they asked him are you a born again Christian and he said yes when did you met Jesus Christ he said well at that time I met Jesus Christ how do you know what did he do for you what did you do to be born again well he he answered to be born again it's something I had to do and then Jesus had to do from his side and they said well can you tell what you did and what Jesus did he said well what I did I sinned and Jesus Christ forgave me yeah that's what it's to make Jesus Christ to be your personal savior if you never commit yourself if you know a lot about Jesus but you never commit yourself to be his followers his disciple then today you actually can do that today at the end of the service you can raise your hand or you can come up to me or to Tim or to some brothers and say you know I want you to pray for me I want to commit my life to Jesus Christ then third your responsibility as a born again Christian that's why I did first want to talk about the gospel I want to talk about that you want to be born again again and then you have responsibility as a born again Christian let's read let's read Matthew 2816 that's known as a Great Commission Great Commission given by Jesus Christ 2816 and um and further but the 11 disciples proceeded to Galilee to the mountain which Jesus had designated when when they saw him they worshiped him but some were doubtful and Jesus came and spoke to them saying all authority has been given to me in heaven and on Earth go therefore and Make Disciples of all Nations baptizing them in the name of the father and the Son and the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all I command you and lo I Am With You Always even to the end of age responsibility we have before God and before Community go and make disciples this is a general will of God for every Christian this is not where I have to find out is this something I have to do or not I have to pray and I have to have a prophecy should I go and make disciples this is a a general commission this is a general will of God for every Christian so when Jesus Christ said go and make disciples is this a recommendation no that's an commandment and that's an order of Jesus Christ he said go and do this so to fulfill this commission do I have to go and become evangelist do I have to go to a different country and preach over there no you don't because those people I mean if you have opportunity to go it will it may change you but you have responsibility you have to actually finish your school finish your school well you guys have to go to colleges and if you have opportunity to go for a couple weeks it can change you but that's not your responsibility to go to a different country right now there is is an evangelist and missionaries that is ordained by church and that's responsibility because we read in the Bible when Holy Spirit said separate for me Paul Saul and Barnabas so they can go and preach and they were ordained in sin so you're not an ordained evangelist you're not an ordained missionary but you are an orain ordained Christian an ordained Christian have responsibility go and make disciples to who I can preach to those people that is around me people are perishing around us what are we doing about this your responsibility is to share the good news of Salvation with your your schoolmates your co-workers your neighbors and anyone with whom you interacted maybe in Starbuck maybe in a restaurant when you in Starbucks or in restaurant or in school or anywhere else do people know that you're a Christian people do people see that you truly follower of Jesus Christ and again to make a disciples I do want to read a statement by Dr David wheeler where he said evangelizing the gospel the message cannot come feel good about God it cannot be just say hey come to God and feel good at God do exist or only to register decisions make a decision for Christ that's not enough or surrender to Jesus and and pull yourself out spiritually I'm going to be a better person I'm going to be a little bit stronger spiritually or is not only limited to a private Christian Life in a school or at work I'm living like everyone else I don't want to show that I'm Different in my private life I believe Jesus Christ I follow him it's not enough but Salvation involves people moving from Death To Life by an act of the Holy Spirit Bas it based on work of Christ on the cross it's whatever chist Christ did on the cross and you share that news to people you tell them that Christ died for your sins and he can save you so we should be the witnesses of Christ letting other people know what Christ did for for our life that's what we should do that's what the true gospel it's to convert people it's so they can be born again and from that moment on they become a different creation they become something more than everyone else in this world you also become a spiritual being as well so that was the third point and the fourth point like I said I do want in this prayer to pray for all of you for our youth for our teenagers for our kids and number one you also have the responsibility to make this service um for the glory of God you have responsibility to bring L souls to this serice and if you are not sure if you're born again Christian then you have an opportunity to do that you can come up and say I want to give my life to Jesus Christ pray for me it's that simple but the decision is a real decision where you actually say I want to follow Jesus Christ for the rest of my life that's a big change and from that point on you become a a new creation so well let's all stand up and let's let's stand up let's not kneel even though we usually kneel but today just because this is the prayer of blessing I actually want also that P and brother Ivan would come up up front because they're also the ministers so we all can bless this service and uh and Bless the people in charge who's going to be in charge of this service and um so that Holy Spirit can start working Among Us and among those people who are in charge so let's start praying let's first start praying for the for the ministers then for the Youth and for the kids and so let's start praying God we're thanking you for this day we are actually bless in this service it's a first service and from now on you lead this service you lead those people you lead brother Tim and anyone who is in charge of this service in the name of Jesus Christ we bless him we bless all people who will support him in this ministry and I know we all going to try to bring those L souls to this place but I'm also blessing youth to actually go out and share this good news of Salvation that you can be saved in the name of Jesus Christ we asking blessing in our kids that the kids will be blessed as well that they can sit here and understand the truth of God because now they can understand this language well and they can understand this truth in the name of Jesus Christ thank you God that you gave us opportunity to have this first service in the name of Jesus Christ amen well oash I I don't know how to pray in American so I'll I'll guess I'll live it the way it is p do you know how to pray with yeah okay well anyway so I guess what and if we can turn on the TV uh the last song we will be singing um is my Jesus my Savior my Jesus my Savior Lord there is none like you all of my days I want to praise the Wonders of your Mighty [Music] love my comfort my shelter Tower of refuge and strength let every breath all that I am never cease to worship you Shout to the Lord all the Earth let us see Power and mesty praise to the king not just bow down and the SE at the sound of your name I see the joy of the works of whoever I love you we're we're ending the service and I forgot to announce that um like in I'll say in about February 4th which is a Sunday uh we're going to have Doug he's going to be leading Bible study from 10:00 a.m. and 400 p.m. um I'm going to be announcing it every week for the next um 4 weeks but tell your friends Bible study uh Doug does a really good job one time I came in he he wrote everything down and I'm like now that's a teacher right there you know that's a teacher not like me you know but um yeah so so just remember that February 4th uh Bible study from 10:00 a.m. and 400 p.m. but we're going to end off our service I think we we all got the message today amen it's uh to go out to go out you know and Jesus teaches us to go out and um you know there there is going to be some doubts in our life uh maybe somebody will discourage us um maybe somebody's going to be telling you you're not up for this but as we heard um our pastor read where it says Make Disciples of all Nations um it's not a special Ministry it's actually your obligation and so today the Lord gives us that opportunity it's an opportunity it's not a burden it's an opportunity you know and praise God for that so let's end off with a prayer um and we'll we'll open up to uh Lawrence Luke 11 chapter two and uh that will be the the oin English but let's let's uh pray Lord God we thank you for everything God that you give us Lord for all your blessings Lord and for this service Lord God that you taught us Lord one thing God that it's time to go work for you Lord God that is time to go and and tell the gospel to those that are perishing Lord Jesus God and this was the message to all of us today Lord God we ask for your blessing um on the service say next week and the week after Lord God we ask for your holy spirit to guide us and uh bless each person this night uh protect us on the way home Lord God that that we all make it safely Lord and we thank you for everything in Jesus name amen like our Father in heaven Hallowed Be Your Name Your Kingdom Come your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven give us to day our daily bread and forgive us our sins for we also forgive everyone who sinned against us not into temptation but Deliver Us from the evil one Kingdom in your power and Glory forever are yours amen amen thank you I had a different translation
