Kindness: A Fruit of the Spirit
This week Pastor Tim and Pastor Gennady continue their series on the fruit of the Spirit with a discussion on kindness, drawing a clear line between simply…
Go and Make Disciples
Three leaders walk the church through its next chapter: a renewed call to win souls and make disciples. Drawing on the parable of the great supper and the Great Commission, they press for a real, surrendered faith and share a simple 5-3-1 plan to choose five lost people, pray for them by name, love them, and walk them from stranger to disciple. The morning opens with two congregational songs, "As the Deer" and "Lord, I Offer My Life to You," and closes in prayer and the Lord's Prayer. It is honest, searching, and aimed squarely at the church's mission.

Uh to start our service today, I'd like to read Psalm 95 6 to7. Oh come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For he is he is our God and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand. And worship starts in the in the heart before it ever shows up in our actions. And it's coming low before God because we know who he is. And you know, he's just not any god. He is our maker, the one who formed us and still calls us his own. And we're the sheep of his hand, like it says here, which means we're never on our own. We're led and watched over by Jesus Christ, our shepherd uh who knows us. So this morning um come ready. We're stepping into the presence of the God who made us. And so let's start the [snorts] service with prayer. Lord God, we thank you for this day you've given us for this morning, God. And we pray and we ask for your blessings on this service. God bless the singing. Bless the preaching and the things we're going to be discussing today, Lord. And I pray and ask for your Holy Spirit to guide us and lead us and everything we discuss today, Lord. And we thank you for all that you've given us and for Jesus Christ who died on the cross for our sins. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. And for our first song, we'll be singing As the deer pants for streams of water. As [music and singing] the deep ends for streams of water, so my [music and singing] soul longs after you. You [music] alone [singing] are my heart's desire and I long to [music] worship you. You [music] alone [singing] are my strength, my shield. To you [music] alone [singing] may my spirit heal. You alone [music] are [singing] my heart's desire [music] and I long to worship [music] you. You're [singing] my friend and you are my [music and singing] brother even though you are [music] [singing] a king. I [music and singing] love you more than any [music] other [singing] so much more than anything. [singing] You [music and singing] alone are my strength, my shield. [music and singing] To you alone [music] may my spirit yield. You [music and singing] alone are my heart's desire [singing] and I long to worship [music] you. I [singing] want you [music] more than gold or silver. [singing] Only you [music] can satisfy. You alone [music] are [singing] the real joy giver and the apple [singing] of [music] my eyes. You alone [singing and music] are my strength, my shield. To you alone [music] may my [singing] spirit heal. You [music] alone [singing] are my heart's desire and [music] I long to worship you. And for a second song, we'll be singing Lord I offer my life to you. All that I am, [singing and music] all that I have, I lay them down [singing and music] before you. Oh Lord, all my [singing] regrets, [music] all my acclaim, the joy [singing] and the pain are [music] making them yours. Lord, [music and singing] I offer my life to you. Everything I've [music] been [singing] through, use it for your glory. [singing and music] Lord, I offer my days to you, lifting [music and singing] my praise to you as [clears throat] a [music and singing] pleasing sacriice. Lord, I offer you [music and singing] my life. Things in the past, [music] things yet [singing] unseen. Wishes [music] and dreams that are yet to come true. All [singing] of my hopes, all [music] of my plans, my heart [singing] and my hand are lifted to you. [music] Lord, [singing] I offer my life to you. [music] Everything I've been through, use it [music and singing] for your glory. Lord, I offer my days to [music] you, lifting [singing] my praise to you as a pleasing [music and singing] sacriice. Lord, I offer [music] you my Lord, [singing] I offer my life to you. Everything [music and singing] I've been through, use [music and singing] it for your glory. Lord, I offer my days to you. Lifting [music and singing] my praise to you as [music] a pleasing [singing] sacriice. Lord, [singing and music] I offer you my life. Praise God. Praise God, church. So, this morning is going to be a little bit different. Um, we're going to actually take this time and our commission is going to uh discuss a few things. But before we do that, um I wanted to pray. Is is the Sunday school teacher here? Uh okay. Okay. So, let's stand up and pray for for the Sunday school and as well as us so they can head out and then we're going to greet and meet and then we'll all sit down and uh we prepared some things for the next chapter of Morning Star Christian Church. Let's pray. Lord God, we thank you for uh bringing us this morning. Lord, you see all of us here God. You see all of us here God and we are here to learn your word and to praise and worship your holy name God. We bless God the Sunday school Lord God. And we also bless us Lord God in the name of Jesus Christ. Everything that's going to be taught and spoken may it enter into our hearts Lord and may produce good fruit in our lives Lord God to give glory and honor to you. I bless everyone here in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Be blessed. And uh we're going to meet and greet [music] and then we'll begin our Yes, sir. [music] [music] I think Hallelujah. bless. Amen. [music] Hallelujah. Tilly, Vlad, Basili, Kayla, you guys can all come up. Okay. Well, while people are coming up, I guess I'll start. So, we've been actually talking about this meeting already for some time and um those that haven't been weren't here for a few weeks already, we plan to talk to our church um about the next chapter for for our church. Um I've seen that God has really moved uh in many ways even though there's not many of us here. Um but God God's power was here and many people came to Christ. Uh many people gave their life to Christ. Um and some were baptized. Um some moved out to to other states because they felt like they need to reconnect with their family, with their children after not seeing them for 40 years, 30 years. And I saw that that was the power of the Holy Spirit just reuniting um the the long lost relationships that we've been talking about in our studies. And um [clears throat] just a few announcements. So our church, it's going to be on hold on what's the last Sunday of July? Well, on the last sun, the 31st. Okay. So, the last Sunday of July, uh we're going to be actually moving to the gym and uh we're going to have service there. The last Sunday of July, the 26th. The 26th. The last day is 31st. Yeah. Ah, okay. Okay. So, so the last Sunday is going to be the 26th. Um, and our service is going to move to the gym because there's another service that gathers here at um at 11 and they usually come here at 10 to practice and we're always kind of stepping on other people's toes. We don't want to be doing that. So, we're going to be moving there and we're also moving our service from 9:30 to 10:30. Uh, that's going to be 1 hour. So from n from 9 to 9:30, sorry. So it's going to go from 9:30 to 10:30. Um just just one hour long. Also, you see this uh the the future of of Morning Star. Um, we're going to need help and resources and all the hands and prayers to kind of clean up that gym building. Uh, to paint it to also uh you guys know the stage over there to make it look exactly like that. [laughter] I'm just joking. But if we if we get to that, that would be pretty cool. Uh our gym it's it's set up to already have church there. Um and we just want to kind of clean it up, paint it, and we will be gathering there. Uh right now from starting next Sunday, we're going to be doing offerings and uh This all requires money and stuff like that. So if if people can donate for this project, great. We don't usually ask for offerings because we were never in need. Um but there's a need that came up. But hey, listen. If if you can't donate uh financially, that's fine, you know, because we're going to need people to help come and paint and uh clean up and stuff like that. And also if you have extra instruments laying around at home like a guitar, drum set, uh a piano, stuff like that, you guys and you guys are not using it, we would, you know, love it. Yeah, we would love that instrument so we don't have to go and buy one. Um, so that's how it's going to that's the plan and that's going to be July 26th. But between now and then, we're going to be cleaning up that place. So, Saturday, May 30th, which is not this Saturday coming up, but in two weeks Saturday, we're going to gather here at 2:00 and we're going to clean up all inside the gym. So everything that you see over there, we're going to need to clean that up. We're going to have a big dumpster that's going to come. We're going to donate, God willing. Um everything what we can donate. Everything else we're just going to throw away. Um there are some things that we're going to there there are some things that we're going to utilize. So, I know there's like a TV in the back over there. We're going to utilize that. So, uh that's not donation, but if if everybody can come and help Saturday, May 30th, um at 2:00, that would be awesome. Okay. Well, that was the beginning. So, we know what our future church plans are. Um, Jacob, can you pull up that that uh picture of the gym again real quick? So, hopefully it's going to the the other one. I mean, that is nice, right? No, not that one. The the outside. That's cool, too. This one. So, if it looks this nice, Amen. But I know God, he'll do it even nicer. You know, he just needs our hands and our feet and our hard work. [laughter] I know it's not going to take one day. So, after we clean up, I'll just come out and I'll say, "Hey, listen. These are the days we're going to meet up to to wash the outside, to paint it, and stuff like that." So, anybody who can come and help. Also, you see, if you really zoom in, you see those like flower pots and stuff. I know there's this one uh lady, she's really good at that. Her name is Hannah. Um so, if she would like to take on that project, we would be very helpful. Um but but if you guys haven't seen uh when you guys go outside of the church like under the uh cross right now there's all those flower stuff. That's that's her work. So and she takes care of that. So thank you Hannah for that. We're not giving glory to you because you're going to receive it in heaven. Just a little thankfulness uh from the church. But okay. So, [clears throat] when we started this this 9:00 a.m. service, um, I was kind of seeking God's answer to what what was his plan for all of this. And those who know me, I don't like to waste anybody's time. And um it might sound a little harsh, but I don't like when people waste mine. So um so I'm like, Lord, I don't want to waste your time, you know, and I don't want to waste my time either. Uh so what what do you want for this church? And when we started uh the prayer is Lord, what do you want? We started um reaching out to long lost friends and family that uh fell away from God that um that stopped going to church like, "Hey, listen, come to church." But but everybody like had their their reasons for not coming. So, I'm not doing the slideshow. That's that's for Vlad. He's going to do that. But I'm just going to kind of uh let people understand how this church started and what was everything behind it. So [clears throat] then we were praying and fasting for some time um because it felt like those people who we were inviting and asking they they felt like they didn't need God. They didn't need church. And you're not going to force anybody. You're not going to drag anybody into here, right? Uh, everybody has a choice. Everybody has a reason why they come and everybody has a choice to come. So, we were in fasting in prayer and um, I had this I'm not going to say I heard a voice from God, but there was this clear voice like, "Open up the Bible." And I'm praying on my knees and I I usually never like to to test it like that. Open up the Bible and then there's a scripture that reveals your answer. I kind of doubted that. Um and I'm like, you know, it's it's maybe my thoughts. It's maybe my thoughts and stuff like that. And I kept on praying and again, open up the Bible. And so I open it up and it opens up to Luke 14 and my eyes fall on this. And it says, "Now when one of those who sat at the table with him," that's what Jesus heard these things, he said to him, "Blessed is he who shall eat bread in the kingdom of God." Then he said to him, "A certain man gave a great supper and invited many, and sent his servant at supper time to say to those who were invited, come, for all the things are now ready." But they all with one accord began to make excuses. The first said to him, "I have bought a piece of ground and I must go and see it. I ask you to have me excused." And another said, "I have bought five yolk of oxen and I am going to test them. I ask you to excuse me." Still another said, "I have married a wife and therefore I cannot come." So that servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, "Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city and bring in here the poor and the crippled and the lame and the blind." And the servant said, "Master, it is done as you commanded, and still there is room." Then the master said to the servant, "Go out into the highway and the hedges, and compel them to come in that my house may be filled. For I say to you that none of those men who were invited shall taste my supper." And [clears throat] when I read this, it's it's as if I got a clear answer of what I had to do. Um, and I'm not going to say that Jesus was necessarily revealing to me to go and just invite the morning to Morning Star Christian Church because over here the parable is to invite them into the kingdom of God. But [clears throat] but right away I understood what that meant. For some reason, it was like a clear answer that before I didn't even think about and we I told our senior pastor that's not here this morning. Um uh he's at a different church, but but [snorts] I told him and then I told some of my friends. I'm like, "Hey, listen. I don't know what happened last night, but this happened and this is what it said." And I feel like we need to go to the shelters around in Boise. So, we started knocking. We started knocking. We I uh wrote some emails, did some phone calls. We went there and we got introduced to the head of the people. was like the doors were open. We didn't even have to try. The doors were open. And then when they heard that, oh, we have a bus who can pick up the residents, they were like, oh yeah, go ahead. So, we stayed faithful in that ministry for about two years, and we're still staying faithful. Um but I saw God's hand how it was just blessing the services. Uh more and more people started showing up. Uh people started getting saved. Uh they started hearing the word of God, turning their life to God, accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior and getting baptized. And even the Holy Spirit started reconciling their relationships, their friendships with their loved ones, with their friends, family, with their children. It was like, wow. And [clears throat] then there came a time where things started slowing down. Things started slowing down. And um I like our team, we started praying again to God like Lord uh you know what's next? What's next? What's next for our church? And there was this understanding like go back to that passage that I opened up to you in the beginning. And I'm like okay. But then work and family and church, it kind of got into the things and then I would be praying and the team would be praying because we announced like a prayer and fasting. And again, I hear this thing, go back to the passage that uh that I opened up to you. And I go back to the passage and I'm like, whoa, how didn't I even see this? Because over here when Jesus tells this servant that go and call the lame and the sick and the crippled and this and that, the servant came back to him. And he said, "Lord, I have done it all. Now God sends him out the second time and says,"Now go to the streets and to the fields." over here it doesn't say fields but uh in a different translation it does say fields and go and call those and back then um back in those times the streets was like where all the action was moving you know people were on the streets dealing there were their little shops this and that um and then on the fields it's like who was on the fields is those who worked those who did their 8 to5 or 9 to5 whatever um just a regular guy who's working and then when like I met with our team with our commission team it was like wait okay so we did the first part but we haven't started on the second part and God revealed to us that now it's time to start the second part And the fields are those people who are working their jobs. The streets are those just the regular people who are dealing, who are um hanging out, who are this, who are that. And Jesus says, "And now go and invite those." Hold on a sec. Now I want to make it clear. It doesn't say to Morning Star Christian Church. It says to the kingdom of God. to the kingdom of God. Then uh when Jesus left before he was ascended back into heaven, he gave this great commission. Go and make disciples of all nations. And that was a commission to who? That was all to all that were there before he ascended to his church. Go and make disciples. And when Jesus in the the parable uh like in Matthew he says the the harvest is great but the laborers are few. And [clears throat] what we see here is that the servant who is going out he's laboring. He's laboring. Sometimes we have this notion that pray pray and God will send people here. But in this parable, Jesus sends out and people labor. Jesus says, "Pray for more labor so God can send out more laborers because the harvest is plentiful." Jesus tells the church, "Go and make disciples." And disciples is this. Go and make followers of Christ. Disciple is a follower of Christ. Yeah, it's great when a person is saved. But the church has a mission. It's to make followers of Christ how to love God, how to serve him, how to follow him. That is the mission of the church. So [sighs] right now uh we gathered here this morning to to explain all of that um how what the next steps for our church is. Okay. Um who wants to go next? Vlad. Hi everyone. Um, we can pull up the slides and go to the next one. So, as you can see, we had uh a pretty nice time uh about a year maybe almost two years of outreach and there's a lot of things that we experienced, a lot of work that we did, reached out to a lot of different people and you know it was a really great run. Um you can go to the next slide. So you can see here we had anywhere from 10 to 30 people coming every single week. And um it was really great. Um and we made a lot of friends. We made a lot of relationships and a lot of people came to Christ as Tim mentioned. Um and you can go to the next slide. And then we had a new shelter open and Tim kind of discussed about that. A lot of people kind of went their ways. Um, and now we kind of see less people come into our service, but this kind of gave us the idea of maybe there is something new that God wants us to do. And and we kind of sat down together as Tim mentioned and we discussed and we prayed and we fasted and we kind of came up with some things on uh what the next chapter could look like. And so this kind of marks the new chapter. And you can go to the next slide. As Tim mentioned already, this what it kind of looks like what we're thinking of doing. Uh next slide. And why does this matter? Because when God closes one door, he opens another. And the church should train, teach, and disciple people. And then the disciples are sent out to labor for the kingdom of God. And God grows his own church. We can see here uh in Acts it says the Lord added to their number daily those who are being saved. You know, it's not from our um it's not from our hard work that God does this. Uh even though that does come into play, but it's God who in the end of the day adds people to the church. And so, uh there's revivals that have happened and I'll kind of let uh brother Vlad talk about that part. Um yeah. Okay. So [clears throat] we were um there's few meetings we had and this topic kind of came up right because like Tim said we idea is to see souls being won for a kingdom right and um through the history there's been a lot of revivals. There's been a lot of men of God who have lived out that radical Christianity I would call it that message of Christ that's uh that's offered to the world that what Christ has brought um and and his message and in general Christianity itself uh go in and gospels it says that it's uh it's a foolishness right to those who perish but is a power of God to those who are saved that what Christ has offered was contrary to everything that people believe. The morality of Gentiles and Jews, it was something new, was something radical. Went from eye to an eye to turning the other cheek. Christ taught to pray for those who persecute you, uh to bless those who curse you, uh to help those who around you. [snorts] And if we do not live out that radical Christianity, if we do not live that true biblical Christianity, um concern is that we can have plans and we can have new, you know, building uh we can move in and have all that. But if we truly do not surrender ourselves uh to Christ uh fully if we don't fully start living out that Christianity um that biblical with God called we today we're singing that hymn uh that first hymn and it says that like the words that you are all of my heart's desires. I mean we sing that and I'm thinking are we singing that in truthfulness or are we singing that and we're lying to ourselves right guys? is Christ is desire of your heart. He's the only desire or social media, style, you know, makeup, clothes, cars, you know, how we pull off of the parking lot, how we hang out, the sports we enjoy. Are are we is this what we're doing? I mean, is this the Christ desire? Is every moment of your life is surrendered to Christ? Do you want to see souls one or do we want to live nominal Christian life? We want to live um you know carnal Christianity. The Bible calls it lukewarm and yet at the same time we still want to partake of God's blessing. We still want to see God's miracles and and in reality often we're not even willing to give give an hour a day to you know to Lord to fellowship with him. So, as we're doing this transition, right, there's like this new chapter, this new page. Uh, the idea is that not only we're doing this physical move into that building, right? Not only we're doing we're beautifying the building and we're transforming outside and inside, but we need to start with that transformation of our outside and the inside of our hearts. Sorry getting a little emotional because we can apply all the our strength and our physical ability and not see results and not see the fruit because Christ is not going to be working for us but we'll be working you know with within our strength like Paul says that when we're running to receive that reward we don't want to just kick the air you know just just to punch the air but you want to submit your flesh you want to bring into submission to the word of God to the spirit of God. You want to give your all to him and then we'll see the results and then we're going to see the power of God. We're going to see the miracles. We're going to see the movement of God. The sinners will not be able to sit in the church week after week, hear the preaching and walk out and go and sin again. Is this not why people come in this house to hear the preaching of the gospel and see transformation of the heart? If the sinner is comfortable in our church with his sin, there's a problem. They should be coming to the front, guys. They should be hearing the preaching of the gospel and falling on the face and asking for forgiveness, realizing that their path, they're on the way to hell, eternal damnation. But somehow people can sit in their midst traveling eternal damnation and it's not touching their hearts and saying, "Lord, why is this happening?" or is the spirit of God or is that radical transformer Christianity that will change anybody who will come in the midst and not our midst the presence of the Lord. It's not that people will come and hear us because we're so good. No, they will come and they'll say truly God is here. [snorts] Our sins are being exposed. We find no peace in our heart. We want that freedom. We do not want to be condemned. We want to receive the the love that the God gave us. [snorts] But often we're not seeing that and it seemed like we're content after we check our phone so many times during this service. I've noticed being in the translation booth that I'm seeing some people check their phone like 30 times in the service. I mean I would truly Lord is our heart's desire. We give them all. We submit them. Guys, we can't leave a phone in the car. Forget about everything else. We can't set aside little things of the worldly flesh because we want to, you know, we want to follow this world. We want to be like them. We don't want to be separate. We don't want to stand out. We don't want to be radical. Yet, we want to see all the transformation. We want to see all the gifts. We want to see everything. And so, with this change that we're doing, right, it is great. I mean, the idea is good and and it's awesome. And I believe that God is doing this work and he's leading and he inspiring us. But with this physical change we're doing, guys, we need to really revisit our walk with God. We really need to not just change the outside inside of that building, but we need to start changing outside and inside of ourselves. And with that, we will see miracles. We will see God's work. You will see what God has to offer. Amen. Amen. Thank you, brother Vlad, for that great message. Uh, and it's very true. And, um, then we kind of come to the part of how what should we really do with the church? And we can go to the next slide. And so every single person on their lives is on a journey. Whether that's, you know, you never heard of Christ before or you have heard of Christ and you come to church every single Sunday, uh, and maybe you're saved. And we can go to the next slide. And so how this kind of looks like is we can all uh help add to the kingdom of God. And how we can do that is whenever you find a stranger um who doesn't know about Christ, you can tell them about Christ, you can pray for them, you can invite them into church. And we're trying to build, you know, an environment for people who can learn more about Christ, who can be saved, and in the end, uh become laborers for Christ. And we'll kind of get to that. Um but then they become visitors of the church uh once they're invited. And we welcome them in. We follow up throughout the week. Um we we try to build a relationship with them. Hey brother, do you have something we can pray for for this week? Maybe he's struggling with something or she's struggling with something. Um uh you can pray for them. And these vi visitors then they become members. And what we can do is we can walk together with them. Uh we can pray with them, fast with them. We can disciple them. And these members eventually can become disciples. And so what these disciples can do is then they can also bring more people into the church and disciple them. And so it's kind of like this almost like a pipeline. Um and as we can see in uh Timothy, if you go back to the last slide, it says uh I can't really see that far. who will be able to teach others. You want to say it says in trust of the faithful men who will be able to teach others also. So that is what second Timothy says about that. And uh going on to the next slide uh it's kind of small. I don't know if you guys can really see but this is kind of what the pipeline looks like uh if we kind of got technical. And um this is kind of what we want to model after. So the first step is somebody is complete stranger then they become an acquaintance or a friend then they become a visitor of the church then they become a returner uh and then they become connected they become a member and then in the end they become a disciple and then they also become a laborer and so this is kind of what we want to model after and what we think is biblical as well um because this is what the Bible teaches us it says says to make disciples of all nations and so uh go to the next slide and uh brother V was can kind of talk about this part the 53 the 531 so can I stand up get in trouble so [clears throat] uh I'm going to paraphrase what Tim read so there's this big party that's that's happening and some people get invited uh and they for some reason they decide not to show up. So uh the master of this party, he says, "Hey, uh let's go find uh some people that that are not wanted. We're going to go find them." So, so they went out and they brought in other people that were um the like crippled, lame, overlooked. And I feel like we did that. And guess what? If you look around us, we have room for more. So, and I feel that's what happened over there at that time. So, uh they went out and they [clears throat] asked for more people. So, how are we going to do this? Uh, we're going to try the 531 approach. Next slide. So, when when I was uh uh dating, when I first started to like my wife, okay, love I I was I first started to love my wife, I uh I would write her name. I was 17 at that time. I I would write her name, you know, just just all bedazzled. Is that what what it's called? you know, just in love. And I would put her Smitten. Smitten was what? So I I would write her name on my palm. And my mom caught me one time. She's like, "What is that?" I And I'm trying to hide it. And uh she she told me, "Don't write any names on your poem." You know, just just a mom being a mom. But uh as I got older, I I actually came across a passage uh that said uh God said, "See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hand." And um I'm going to come back to my my love story here in a little bit. But uh what we are going to try to do is every person uh think of five people that uh that need to be saved that are lost or maybe they have been going to church uh in uh sometimes but they they're not really born again. Think of five people, write them down on your card. Uh I would even take one of those person and with a permanent marker I would write their name on your palm. This way if you forget during the your busy schedule and you just happen to see that name uh the reason why is uh first when I started liking my wife I I wrote her name on my palm obviously I I I started praying for her. I started uh thinking about her throughout the day and uh believe it or not, she felt that somehow when I was ready to to take her out on a first date, she agreed. She felt that love. Now, you know, we could put random five names and just nonchalantly just just pray for them just that's just because what we're doing. But I feel like if if we think about a person uh all the time, we're going to start slowly. We're going to start to not just like him or not just we're going to start to love them. And uh and people notice people notice if they are loved, they could feel it. It's the vibe. It's the way you your your eyes light up when you see them. Uh you know, there's there's a lot of stuff that goes on. Um, so think of five people each week. Pray for them by name. Uh, you know, maybe put one name with a permanent marker. When it wears off, put another name and and and do that. And then also uh go uh take it another step and and uh buy him a coffee. Maybe invite him over for lunch. Maybe um maybe you you know our souls you know I believe they're they're they're connected if and I know this is a little bit of superstition but you you've heard that if you get the hiccups somebody's thinking of of you right that's what they're saying but um uh I think our souls are somewhat connected because uh the the spiritual world is real. And if we start praying, think start thinking about them, they are going to probably most likely try to reach out. They're going to feel it. So, let's it it uh it's it's going to be a little challenge in the beginning because it's going to be hard uh because we've never done it before, but but give it a try. Uh and we encourage everybody to think of five people uh pray about them. Start loving them. Not just uh uh this is just something we're doing, but actually start loving them. They will feel feel it. Pray for them and then reach out to them. If you hear that they have a need, reach out to those uh especially the five that you got. And uh I think that's it. Vlad, is there anything else? We can go to the next slide. And so this is kind of um how we can also add into this and how we can begin. We can pray weekly for the lost. And we actually do have a Bible study on Thursday. Thursday at 6 p.m. whoever wants to come and join us. We also pray for the lost in in that service. And so we're going to be doing that every week if you want to join us. Uh we're also going to do one day of fasting each month. So every first Friday of the month, we're going to fast for these people uh because we believe that's what really that's what uh really breaks through uh and God really hears those kind of prayers with fasting. And then also what we're going to do, Lord willing, is we have a large community here in Boise and especially all these neighborhoods around us. And it's not many people even know about our church. They might have seen our church. Um they might not think much of it, but they don't really know what's going on inside of this church. And so what we're going to do is we're going to pray for the neighborhood and we're going to put out door hangers inviting everyone to our service. And in that manner, we're going to try to also uh testify to more people um talk to them about Christ and try to bring them to Christ as well. Um and so that's that's also what we kind of plan to do with with the Lord's will. And um we can go to the next slide. And so I don't know if Tim wants to take over this one, but now we can kind of do a little Q&A. Yeah. So if anybody has any questions, you you can just raise your hand and um and we'll we'll answer it. Uh if you have any questions while you guys are thinking. So the pipeline to to make it understandable is to find a lost person that is not saved, knowing that if we don't minister to them, they're going to perish forever for eternity. Our goal is to take that lost person to minister to him about Christ. Then that person wants to know more about Christ. He becomes saved. The church is discipling these people now. Discipling how to live a godly life, how to love God. Um what God loves, what God hates. The church is discipling. That's why it's important for a person to come to church. And then the goal of the church is to disciple them in a way that they can go out and labor on God's field. And now they're the ones uh bringing the lost to Christ. And I just want to share a little story while Does anybody have any questions about this process while you guys are still thinking? Huh? Explained it very well. Yeah, I think we explained it very well. But it um I'll tell you why church is important. So there was a person who I I just randomly met at a gym a while back. Um, and I told him about Christ and he got saved, but he didn't go to church. He didn't go to church and um he honestly wanted to know more about God. So, he started reading the Bible and stuff like that. And I just met with uh this person not long ago and his understanding of scripture was very skewed. It was not correct. And but but thank God this person was open to hear the truth because a new believer um he won't there's there's somebody that needs to disciple them. That's why God has his church on earth. Two disciples, new and seasoned believers for forever, so we can learn more about him and grow in him more and more. So that's why uh bringing this this pipeline is is so important. And at the end, it's laboring for God's kingdom. Laboring for God's kingdom. If the church is not going to do that, people are not going to come to Christ. That's why God has the church here in the first place. When Jesus told the disciples, go and make disciples, he's telling this to the disciples. Go and make disciples. And what did they do? They went and they started ministering everywhere. And they were getting persecuted and beaten and torn apart. But they were just discipling because this world is full with lost people and the church has to disciple. Okay. I got a question. Is is there going to be a reward system? Say uh when I went to VBS uh when I was a kid, I invited 30 people over and they all came. But there's this one other girl, she invited 32 and they came. So she got the bike and I got the backpack. [laughter] So uh what the church doesn't reward God rewards. What gain do we have here on earth from uh for doing this or or is this something eternal? I'll tell you something. Uh Jesus this is the words of Jesus. He says store up your treasures in heaven. And a reward is a way we store up our treasures in heaven. But see, like rewards are great because God, he's going to reward all those who stay faithful and those who go above and beyond for the kingdom of God, God is going to reward them. Great. But imagine going to heaven and knowing that because you ministered now, that person is not perishing forever. I think just knowing that because of your message to that lost soul, that's going to be the greatest knowing that he is saved because God used you to minister. So, so [clears throat] yeah, God Jesus, he he promises mansions and um like while people over here are killing each other over gold and conquering each other over gold. Uh Jesus says uh like in Revelation that uh the streets of heaven are going to be paved with clear gold. So, so who who of you like runs out right now and you know takes a piece of the uh tar from the street and goes and hides it? People be like like why are you doing that? That's foolish. So Jesus just makes the comparison that what people kill over for here over there is just going to be correct. what you walk on, what you walk on, that's how much greater heaven is that the mind and the eye has never seen and can't even comprehend and all the saved people are going to be there. But there are a lot of dying souls around us and we need to tell them about the good news of salvation. Well, our time has come up. If anybody has any questions, this is your final time. But if uh we can also talk after I planted Apollo watered but God gave the growth. The mission of the church is to plant the seed to tell people about Christ. They come here, the church waters them and then God already does the spiritual growth in their life. Okay. So now you guys know the next chapter for Morning Star Christian Church and we're going to be working towards that goal and that goal it first starts with us that we are right with God that we are sanctified, renewed, restored and growing in him daily. Let's pray. Can I ask the audience one question? Are you guys excited or [laughter] Michael is excited? Yeah, look at that. He's excited. Amen. Lord God, we thank you for this time that we could God uh just get on the same page to understand the next chapter for our church, God, and what you have opened to our church, Lord God. I pray God that you give us the strength and the guidance and the wisdom to move forward Lord God and to sacrifice our flesh daily, our our fears, our bad habits, our laziness to go out to sacrifice that and go out and tell people about you, Lord. May you bless our ministry. May you bless our church, Lord God, that more and more souls hear about you, Lord Jesus, and that you could save more. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sinned against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For your kingdom, your power, and glory forever are yours. Amen. What about Thursday? Tuesday. Tuesday. Okay. Uh so Tuesdays at my house, we're going to have evangelism courses. So those who want to come, it's going to be from 6:30 to 7:40. So if you guys can
