Who Am I? Created by God, Not by Chance
A guest speaker, geologist Bill Hos of the Mount St. Helens Creation Center, tackles the question “Who am I?” by setting the evolutionary story against the biblical account of creation. Walking through the fossil record, the laws of thermodynamics, and famous scientific frauds like Piltdown Man and Nebraska Man, he argues that we are not cosmic accidents but image-bearers created by God with purpose and value, and he weaves in his own testimony of coming to Christ. The service opens with the hymns “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and “All to Jesus I Surrender” and a reading from Psalm 14, and closes with “He Is Exalted.”
