The Power of Fasting

This week the teaching is on fasting: Pastors Tim and Gennady lead a discussion on what a true biblical fast is, a deliberate denial of the flesh and a commitment made before God to seek a breakthrough for a specific need. Walking through Isaiah 58, Jesus in the wilderness, and the fasts of Daniel, Esther, and Nineveh, and inviting testimonies from the congregation, they encourage starting small with a clear purpose. Worship includes Shine Jesus Shine, What a Friend We Have in Jesus, and Great Is Thy Faithfulness, with a tender special song by Sister Ally and the rededication of a brother named Roger.
