Prepared as the Bride of Christ

e e e e okay praise God my dear friends so we'll be starting our service today and I want to read from uh proverbs 31 28 and 29 and it says here her children rise up and call her blessed her husband also and he Praises her many women have done excellently but you surpass them all you know it talks about very wise woman and a mother but what it says here in the beginning her children rise up and call her blessed my question is like to to all of us today when have we thanked our parents our mom uh blessed them when we woke up I think you know sometimes we as kids we always expect we always expect but I think we should put it in our hearts to bless our parents to bless our moms and to bless our dads you know because over here it just shows that mothers have done so much for us and there's nobody that's going to love you more than your mother and your and your dad so with these words I just want to encourage us to never forget every day we wake up in our prayers to bless our moms and to bless our dads let's stand up and pray Lord God we thank you for this day Lord God we thank you so much for this for this day God for these God for the mothers that you gave us Lord God we bless them we bless them Lord in the name of Jesus Christ we bless them God Lord because you gave them to us Lord and we thank you so much for our parents Lord God may we be those obedient children Lord God that also pray for our mothers and our and our dads Lord God may you bless them in Jesus name we pray amen the first song we'll be singing is he will make a way [Music] God will make a way going to be like a little bit different today um but it's going to be the announcements right now so um once again I want to say thank you everybody for uh donating uh clothing and shoes and and baby supplies you know there were people that came and it was a a blessing to them so thank you um all the rest of the stuff that is left we're going to package it up and we're going to do another one maybe later on in the year because we have a lot of winter stuff left so it's going to be perfect for the winter season but like after service we're just going to walk down to the gym and there's going to be some dessert some tea and coffee and we're going to all stay and just enjoy that time um I think that's about it it's nice weather it's nice weather it's getting a little toasty I'm I'm on fire I don't know what's going on with my face but it feels like it's 120 uh maybe because I got a sunburn yesterday but um it it's nice weather so we're going to be spending a lot of time outside um so next Sunday and Sundays after that if we don't have any events like these we'll be enjoying a park together other than that we have a group of ladies that prepared a song for us and then brother and typically we think of mothers as uh those that are obviously married and have children and we celebrate uh them this day but today the service is mainly younger people and I actually wanted to talk to uh younger ladies and today for some reason it always falls to me to talk to the ladies I'm not sure why this is the third time in a row uh but um but uh thank God for this privilege and that's what I wanted to talk uh today about and what the scripture says to you and so the younger ladies um mostly I would they're not married yet and um and so today I wanted us to imagine a few things so imagine that you do have a husband and you may say well who is he and I'll tell you he's young he's handsome he's tall and smart and he's extremely rich and imagine that that this is your husband today you know what are you feeling at this moment if you realize this reality and another thing that if I were to tell you is that he likes you and actually he's really in love with you and uh he knows you he he has seen you and he thinks you're beautiful you know um and he thinks about you all the time how would you feel uh would you Fe still experience the feeling of loneliness would you still think about about yourself you know um well maybe I'm not exactly the way that I would like to look maybe there's something that I wish I could change would you even care if this is your husband would you really care about what other people what other young men think about you I would say no would you still compare yourself to other young ladies maybe you see some of them on social media and how they look and you look and you're not quite uh that and sometimes it could give you a feelings of uh well maybe uh despair or depression or something like this if you had this kind of husband would you would you have those feelings I I'd say you wouldn't would you still worry about your future how is it all going to work out and would you still have those feelings of anxiousness or maybe sometimes depression because you're not quite sure how is it all going to work out you have a husband young smart handsome very rich I'd say no you wouldn't second Corinthians it talks and tells us that for all of you young ladies and not only for young ladies but specifically I'm talking uh maybe to you today that um you have that look what it says 2 Corinthians 11: 2 for I am jealous over you with Godly jealousy for I have espoused you to one husband that I may present you as a chased virgin to Christ so if we really think about this verse now we may say well that's abstract you know yeah I understand the Bible says that I am a spouse to one husband but where is he uh I'm still here uh by myself but you know this is actually more real than anything that happens here on Earth whatever happens here on Earth is just temporary it's over and actually when the Sadducees they ask Jesus and they say well how about this one lady she had multiple husbands because the other ones died so who's going to be her husband in heaven and he says no there's there's no marriage like that or given in marriage meaning that our marriage here on Earth is only temporary it's it's very short but the marriage that is talked about here in this verse is actually the Real Marriage it last for eternity and these marriages here on Earth they they're only showing uh what a real marriage is going to be about they're like a foreshadow they're not even though they're real to us because we're here but they're not really the real real thing the real marriage is just coming so who is this husband now in Matthew 13: 46 it says Jesus says he's Parable and he talks about this Pearl and he talks about the value of this Pearl and he says and upon finding one pearl of Great Value he went and sold everything that he had and bought it so Jesus and the kingdom that he's taken us is this Pearl that a person would sell everything in order to have it and it's very real and a lot of Christians they sell everything in order to get this Pearl some uh we know some missionaries they even sell the opportunity to get married here on Earth they say Lord I'm not going to I'm going to the jungles because that's how I want to live my life but the Bible says to us that in this moment that this person while here on Earth he's considered single but he's not he's not Apostle Paul he says you're already espoused to a husband so so unlike here on Earth where there's a bride and a groom and until the wedding happens things can actually go wrong and the wedding may never happen in Christ's Kingdom it doesn't work like that when it's talking about his espouse he's actually considered the husband that's it it's only the time is waiting for the wedding to happen there is no going back the rights are already of the married couple they're just waiting for the actual marriage day there's no going back so what Jesus is saying is that this wedding day is coming right and and you can count on it and you're not single you're already espoused to that one husband and that's why here on Earth we can see people sometimes they actually forgo Jesus talks about about some people they will forgo the marriage and in our eyes we may say oh well that person is single but Jesus says no they're not they're actually espoused to me and they're just waiting for that wedding day and you say well that is so far away you know that's just seems so abstract no it's not it's actually quite close to some people it might be a few years away 10 years away 20 40 60 okay let's say 60 years away until that until we depart this Earth that's what that's when you begin to meet Jesus now the wedding is still but but you were able to go to see already Christ and so this reality is actually coming very quickly it's not somewhere far away like like a fantasy land it's actually the most real thing and so and when we think about this then if if I start thinking about myself that I am not actually single I have a husband his name is Christ and I'm looking forward to that wedding day you know then I can begin to find my identity in him you know and in him I start finding this wonderful identity of who uh who I am really and um he can be your confidence because he thinks you he thinks you're great you know he loves you he actually died for you that you would be his bride in him you can find Joy because now you don't have to feel down you have a great future to look forward to that's amazing you know uh he begins to f F those empty areas in your heart because when you realize I have something wonderful to look forward to and then a smile is now on your face and there's you know the skip in your step that's a true Christian Life it's a life of Victory it's a life of Joy because a person realizes the future that awaits them and that's what gives joy and so the Bible it tells us that we are the bride of Christ and in Revelation uh Chapter 19 Verse 7 it says let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to him for the marriage of the Lamb has come and his bride has made herself ready so what are we doing here on Earth some people they they think you know we just have a lot of lot of time yes we're Christian and uh we should be serving the lord but I'm not quite sure like what am I supposed to there's so many places to see and and we go sometimes and and I can fill my time and I'm trying to fill my time but in reality if we think about it here we are on earth is actually to get ready for that day of marriage of the Lamb it says and his bride has made herself ready so we are here and our purpose is to get oursel ready for that day that is our goal and in verse eight it says it it was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen bright and clean for the fine linen is the righteous Act of the Saints so what are we doing here on Earth we are clothing ourselves ourselves in this fine linen bright and clean that means that's what is my f focus in my life is to make sure that my clothes is this fine linen bright and meaning there's a lot of work that I got to do to make sure that my linen is bright and clean and how do I do that it's the righteous acts of the Saints so it gives me a goal what I have to do here on Earth and um what my de should be because the real wedding is just coming and so all the weddings on Earth they just point to that real wedding that's actually awaiting us so what do you need to do to be that perfect bride of Christ and the Bible talks about when we read the uh verses of Paul and he talks about the Purity that this bride she is pure and so what that would mean is that there is no dirt and we know that the world is dirt and in order for her you know gown to be bright and clean means none of this world can be on her gown she can't wear any of it otherwise it's going to be spots it's not going to be bright so our goal here on Earth is to make sure that none of this world is in us right in order for that dress to be bright and pure so it teaches us to keep ourselves pure to keep ourselves from the Dirt away from the dirt of the world and that no part of the world can be in us and another thing is this Purity is is God's word uh in psalm 12:6 it says the word of the Lord are pure words you know our words are are humanly words they're not pure a lot of times um they're actually quite worldly and sometimes they could be bad words that's the words of of the human of the flesh so how do I make my words pure I have to take them from God God's word words are pure so when I take God's word and put it into my mouth and this is what I speak then pure things be start coming out of my mouth and it's to keep my eyes pure look what it's uh it's Prophet habakuk or in Russian it's aak uh he says that um that the Lord does not look favorably on wickedness now let's ask ourselves do we sometimes look favorably on wickedness sometimes we could you know because well sometimes it's fun or funny or things like that but it's wickedness and the word of God says that the Lord he does not look favorably on Wicked uh on wickedness so if I'm going to keep my eyes pure I need to have the same feelings as the Lord I need to start hating wickedness and looking on wickedness and so and to have a pure heart and if we read that verse it says your uh it says about God your eyes are too pure to approve evil and you cannot look on wickedness with favor those are amazing words about our Lord and I have to share that with him that's how I keep my garments pure now on Earth it's important for the human race for people to get married right it's because even though right now there's about 8 billion people on Earth but in about a 100 years they will all be dead right and so if people didn't get married here well the humanity would disappear so that's why God instituted here this institution of marriage so Humanity would not disappear and um and God wants this marriages here on Earth Earth to be strong because they foreshadow that Real Marriage God wants us to simulate that real marriage that is there in heaven that is strong and pure and so and uh for the young ladies I would say you want to make sure God is's not against marriage on this even though you already have a husband there waiting for you all of us but God he wants us also to get get married here um on Earth so the human race continues but it's not super duper critical there's actually been a lot of people that never got married including Jesus himself um and so but when we look for that husband you know that man know we have to make sure that in order for that marriage to be strong he has to be a man that also um truly loves you and if this Christian man truly loves you the way that you will know that he shares your commitment to Purity I would say a lot more young ladies want to be pure than young men you know and sometimes they can confuse a young lady right and and ladies can get confused but but the word of God says that in order that our marriage it has to be pure and that if you're dating and these are Christian men and they go to church and supposedly you know they may even participate in church but if you look at their acts and they are not pure like the scripture says and they may want something that you know it's not pure but they say it's because they love you don't believe it run away that's like a wolf that's not really a young man that loves you and we actually read in a scripture about this young man and one of them was the son of David and he pretended like he really loved this young lady and you know and and he wasn't committed to Purity and then when he got what he wanted he hated her right so for the young ladies don't be confused about Pretenders and there's many of them that pretend that they are a man of God but in reality they are not and so I would say stay away from them because uh with this kind of people your your marriage would actually have a very hard time to survive and statistics actually show that there's a lot more divorces in in families um that uh before marriage if couples didn't keep themselves pure that's the percentage you could look at the research secular research are way more divorces in those families so I would encourage both ladies and young men to make sure that you don't fall into that negative statistic that uh your commitment is to Purity and the the young man that I talked about is written in 2 Samuel 13:15 it says then am not hated her with a very great hatred for the hatred with which he hated her was greater than the love which he had loved her and Amon said to her get up go away so you can see that uh there's a lot of Pretenders uh and and and they use they can U confuse a young lady under the feelings that I love you and and girls they may not know like I'm not sure that's maybe maybe he does love me don't believe it uh another thing for us to keep ourselves so as we're here on Earth and as we're getting married we're still preparing for that marriage supper with the lamb and so we have to make sure that our life here on Earth is pure because we're in the midst of preparation and so another thing that we have to do is marry within our faith because the Bible says that we should not be unequally yolked so if there's a young man that may not share your faith but he says that he's very interested with you in you and he loves you and things like this but he just doesn't share your faith don't believe it and don't don't take that step only uh have a relationship with a a person that shares your faith and your commitment to Purity now I might I must say that getting married today today is actually a bit harder than in previous generations um and and the reason uh for it was that you know in previous generations people even even unchristian people were more committed to marriage and now we just see this confusion in the world what's going on we see people cohabiting we see people not getting married at all and things like this so there's a lot of things that are going on and it's influencing the Christian circles also and unlike in the previous generations when you actually look at the statistics uh people were getting married much younger now people are getting late getting married much later and later is because of all these different troubles that is going on in the society and God he put this uh these romantic desires into humans um and it's gods and these are feeling that God put into the human and and these feelings are there uh for person for people to say you know what uh I want to get married because the whole purpose of it is that the so the human race if we read in Genesis that it wouldn't disappear and so God he put it in a way those feelings that when people begin uh to have him then they start thinking about marriage right they start thinking about marriage and then that's how families are formed and and then uh the purpose purpose of the families is that then people have children and and and uh Humanity continues even there's a saying in the world I think all of us heard this like rhyme and and it even shared this kind of values even though it's not 100% sharing the values of Christianity but it says like this uh if I borrow two names they would go like this Joe and Liz sitting in a tree right K SS iing first comes love then comes marriage then comes baby in a baby carriage right even the world knew what it was about now people are all confused they all walk around with puppies like um but but we know in the Christian circles we teach even you know before marriage there is no kissing right wait for that use that energy um uh to get married and so this is uh also I think for young men uh in order to save that for for marriage because a lot of times what's happening in the Christian circles even uh within the young man they kind of they start spreading this energy right in the world maybe they visit inappropriate websites or have appropriate apps you know or engage in different kinds of romantic uh relationships outside of marriage this is all non-biblical and so that's why we see this destruction that is going on um and God will bring people to account for that uh because God he instituted the marriage if we read uh in Genesis and and he said specifically that uh people should marry and if people they kind of um disperse this energy throughout their different uh acts that are ungodly and never get married God is going to bring those people uh to answer say you know you were supposed to do that but you didn't fulfill it and so you're going to Bear responsibility for that so Christ he allows us to uh obviously to get married but in 1 Corinthians chapter 7:34 it says these interesting things and and it says like this and his interests are divided the woman who is unmarried and the Virgin is concerned about the things of the Lord that she may be holy both in body and spirit but one who is married is concerned about the things of the world how she may please her husband so uh what What's the interesting thing about this is that it talks about an unmarried woman that she also has obligations but to to Christ so a lot of times we can uh start feeling these feelings of singleness and they can you know weigh down upon us and we may feel like we're alone and and a person may experience the you know am I beautiful enough enough like why am I etc etc but just remember that's the word of God doesn't say it like that the word of God actually says your husband is waiting for you so in this time if you're single on this Earth get ready for the marriage that is coming up you you know and so put all your energy to into that and in that you can find your value you can find your identity in Christ because he's already w for you and that is the most Real Marriage that will ever happen so you don't have to have these feelings of um that that a lot of people may have if you realize that and we just have to wait a bit longer for that but it's not that far away and so the bible say that you're already uh I get the one of the words is like bethod or uh espouse uh to Christ and so at the end I just wanted to say uh think about Christ it he it's the husband that is waiting for you in heaven and and when you will meet him he will be handsome and smart and he's extremely rich and way way more I didn't even touch but it's going to be an amazing amazing wedding there in heaven that we're all looking forward to and I hope that we uh as young people here that are sitting here that you would already put all your energy and all of us including to get ourselves ready for the real wedding that is coming up and with this words I want to end let's pray e e and before um we unending love unending Grace uh praise God my dear friends Well Service is already going to be over and uh we heard a really good message especially for us um people that are waiting for our future husband even though it's kind of weird to say that being a guy and a husband but we know that in heaven there's no male and female we're just a spirit waiting for our Lord Jesus Christ and today we heard a very good message that even encouraged me uh praise God for that um does anybody have any needs if not then let's end with a prayer Lord God we thank you Lord God for this evening Lord Lord God you've been so good to us Lord we just want to thank you and honor you God for taking care of us every day of our life Lord God there's nothing like on this Earth that we can complain about and yet we still do Lord we apologize for that God and we ask you Lord God that that uh make us holy just like you are Lord God make us holy just like you are God because you are going to be coming for us we thank you we honor honor you and we worship you in Jesus name we pray amen Our Father in heaven Hallowed Be Your Name Your Kingdom Come your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us lead us not into temptation but Deliver Us from the evil one for your your kingdom your power and Glory forever are yours
